As a veteran and dealing with a claim by myself is very hard, when filling out a claim its all about the writing and the wording within the claim. This is one of the main keys in the claim, its like writing a proposal for the government about a product. That Proposal has to stand OUT!
I’m 90% (70 PTSD, 30 migraines) with 14 items either 0 or 10%. Hired a lawyer in March. Was seriously injured in Desert Storm but received only 10% for that claim which now prevents me from working.
In seeking medical and dental care in VA facilities, most of the medical care providers are not aware of the scopes of care granted to TDIU recipients. Dental care eligibilities were mostly based on service connection unlike TDIU which were employment based.
I am already diagnosed with PTSD 70% combined at 90%. This was done in the last 5 months, I filed for TDIU submitted forms 21- 8940, 21- 4192 and lay evidence. Now I have an C&P exam with LHI, they requested DBQ PTSD. I would like to know why they are going over the same crap I already did?
I have file and waiting for results I am 70% went to be examined and stayed there for 3 hrs I hope it went well I had back surgery in January and just waiting if I don’t get it where can I get up with you all I am in kinston Nc thanks
Hi, I'm rated at 40% for a fractured right clavicle and 70% overall. I have an office job now but with my fractured clavicle I am no longer able to work any physical jobs, do I qualify for tdiu benefits?
Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick LTD, is the 70% for the combination of 2 or more service rated disabilities of at least 70% based on the individual ratings equaling 70% or is this 70% based on VA's math? I am rated at 60%, but, my individual ratings are 50% for migraine headaches, 10% for tinnitus, and 10% for right heal/right ankle. I was diagnosed by a VA Dr last year for severe obstructive sleep apnea with insomnia and gerd. Anxiety is also mentioned in my file. Thank you for your time and help.
Generally speaking, a veteran must have a service-connected condition with a rating of at least 60 percent; or, multiple service-connected conditions with a combined rating of at least 70 percent including one condition with a rating of 40 percent or more.
Im at 90%, and work as a warehouse manager and have been taking synvisc (shots)for the last 5 years for my knees, Im looking at needing at least 30%more to get 100%. I can not work as my knees swell up and flare making it painful to work. I have 70 PTSD, 50% sleep apnea, 20 knees, 10% hypertension, 10% rt ankle and 10% Back. Should i lean for TDIU or try to get 30% more for 100%.
