2 drops of Olaplex is enough for my long but fine hair. 3 drops is too much. I thought it was expensive when I bought it but the bottle isn’t half empty and I’ve been using it multiple times a week for almost a year. Game changer!

I love the loreral 21 in 1 color protectant leave in conditioner. It has done wonders for my hair for half the price!!!! I apply the SMALLEST amount of oil and start at the underneath of the back of my hair, starting at the ends and moving up towards my lengths. I have bangs, so I'll leave the film/ very tiny amount left on my hair and apply closer to my roots but never on the roots. I always use it after my leave in and is the last and only product i use in my hair unless I'm heat styling my hair (other than shampoo and conditioner) i go for less of products the better especially since i have medium but thin hair. But I'll use my heat protectant, which i use the way she recommends using a leave in... in sections and make sure to spray the front and back on the hair

I have wavy hair so I learned a long time ago that less is more. Usually I'm too lazy to style my hair wavy these days but either way I'm always careful when trying a new product. I figure I can always add more the next time if it wasn't enough. ☺️ I have long fine hair and although I finally had my dry, crispy bleached ends cut off I still like to add a tiny bit of Olaplex oil to my ends after drying it. One drop is usually plenty for me!

Hello, love your videos! I do use more oil than most people. I have finer hair, but really dry. I think why I don't have issues with over oiling is that I start the application at the ends of my hair and go up midway as the oil is absorbed. Then the top of my head only at the very end (barely anything on my hands). I use olaplex and it has been great. My hair never feels weighed down and I have had lots of compliments as well. I appreciate all the advice for hair care. As I age, I notice I need to take extra steps to take care of my hair. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge.

I have mid length curly sliver hair. Fine but higher density. Since curly and also gray hair tend to be drier at the ends I spray one spray of the Verb Ghost oil, putting it primarily to the mid length and ends. Verb Ghost oil is a light weight oil, good for any hair type at a reasonably good price point. Highly recommend!

Hi! New to your channel! Very informative! I had fine, stick straight hair until about 10 years ago; my autoimmune kicked into overdrive and my hair started to curl…I now have fine wavy, curly hair that needs lots of moisture. I use several drops of oil but I flip my head over to apply it to make sure I get the super coily curls their extra moisture. To my water bottle I add a squirt of leave in conditioner and a squirt of smoothing cream…works well

I am curious as to which oil you use the most, and how you use it, do you use it every wash day, after your leave in still on damp on hair, or do you use after styling on dry hair? I ask because you do have hair similar to mine, and am in midst of trying to find out which is best for me and which one....right now in process of playing around with olaplex, but not sure if the light weight one is it or not, or if using to much lol sometimes it feels to make to it dry so not sure if it is the argan oil in it what it may be, or maybe not even need it lol I also sometimes wonder if it is the volatile silicone that evaporates that is not good for me. I may try that theory out as well, but trying to find an oil/serum without almost seems impossible. or if i need a more cream leave in I have tried the beach club and that was a not for me, no matter how much less or more i used, it made my hair dry

Hi Summer🙋🏻‍♀️😍 I’m new to your channel. I have a question, do you have any advice for woman that cannot use a blow dryer due to medical reasons (severe pain in the neck, joints etc)? Is there anything we can do to get air dried hair look good or are we doomed😂? For reference I have fine ”almost long” hair, a bit longer then the shoulderline. Sleek looks weird on me, my hair is not completly straight to begin with. I tried crimping the roots and that looks nice but what to do with the ends then? Thank you💕

What about applying the oil on your hair overnight? Is it beneficial, apparently. I was hearing about it for years. I use different types of oils and I do see a difference. I cover my hair and scalp with oil (much bigger amount than you are showing), make a plat, keep it on overnight and then washing it off in the morning. I do it currently with mustard oil, as it apparently helps to regrow the hair (my hair was falling off, for a good while). What I noticed is, that after washing off (easyli done, with a regular shampoo) my hair feels soft and it has nice shine to it. What do you think about this type of treatment?

Great tips! I love that your videos are funny! At some point, I'd like you to try Seen's blow out cream and their magic serum and let me know what you think. I've been using them and liking the results. I use the fragrance-free version because I have an aversion to strong fragrances. The blow out cream is very moisturizing, so I tend to use it in lieu of conditioner. My hair is super fine and thin, so I always fear weighing it down with too many products.

@@SummerBeautyc , yeah, fragrance-free is important for our family because a) I have a very acute sense of smell, and b) my son is on the autism spectrum. People on the spectrum have sensory reprocessing issues. In my son’s case, he is very sensitive to certain smells and can’t handle being close to me if I am wearing something that has a strong perfume. (That said, he can handle strong automotive smells, so go figure.) It’s really bad if I drive him somewhere on a hot day because the smell is enclosed and made even stronger. Most hair products are loaded with perfumes. I wish all these brands would make fragrance free versions to include people with allergies and sensory issues.

Any tips on using the MO root lifter on super fine hair? I bought it after seeing your videos and find it really makes my hair super crunchy when I’m blow drying. I section, I have a good round brush (so I think as it came with the Dyson hairdryer I bought). I find the root lifter is making my hair damaged as it snaps from the crunch. Any tips? My hair is very fine and thin and in a short Bob.
@SummerBeautyc
@SummerBeautyc 2 месяца назад
Are you rough drying your hair prior to sectioning? I have noticed one or two times that if I don't rub the product into my scalp and rough dry at my roots I've gotten the slightest crunch feeling. It shouldn't be snapping your hair though. Make sure you are brushing the product through your hair, prior to blow drying as well.

@@SummerBeautyc thank you for replying. No I’ve been putting product in first, sectioning and then blowing out. I used to rough dry first and then my own hairdresser said to section it all and then blowout! Grrr- so hard to know what to do. When I get the blowout right the MO root lift and mousse do work amazingly well, so thanks for that and believe me, I’ve tried every thickening and volume product out there! I didn’t really like the lotion as it weighed my hair down but the other two are amazing. Any tips on a good blowout brush for fine hair that’s mid range priced and hi from Australia! Love your tips.

I'm so confused on my hair type. It's fine, but also course I think because I'm 50% gray and post menopausal... Which means frizzy and dry. I can use 2 full pumps of the Moroccanoil (light) and not look greasy. My hair is halfway down my back and I can't figure out the perfect products so I always wear in a pony or bun to conceal the frizz. I use the Moroccanoil hydrating shampoo and then Its a 10 mask for an hour. Then I use the Pureology leave in and diffuse it dry. What am I doing wrong!!??
