Tory deputy chairman Lee Anderson today piled pressure on Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey to resign over the Post Office scandal. He told Sir Ed to begin 'clearing his desk, clear his diary and clear off' amid intense public anger at the wrongful prosecution of hundreds of sub-postmasters.
Tory MP Lee Anderson sparked uproar in the Commons this afternoon after using his PMQs question to demand Sir Ed Davey "clear off" over his part in the Post Office scandal.
Mr Anderson told MPs that the Horizon Post Office scandal had seen hundreds of innocent sub-postmasters sent to prison, including one of his own constituents.

He leads a political party that wanted to ignore a democratic vote the referendum.... He now wants to blame all his advisers regarding the victimisation of British workers (over a 25 year period) where the establishment chose to believe a multinational company over British workers with some losing their homes, being driven into debt, being put in prison and some taking their own lives.. Globalists Britain where nice Liberal politicians chase the Globalists Dollar big time, nice house nice holidays.

Sunak as chancellor, knowing full well the details of the case, also did nothing and continued to award billions of pounds worth of contracts to Fujitsu, the company responsible for the software and a significant donator to "the cause". By all means clap Davy in irons if he is found guilty. Do not forget to charge and convict the rest of that criminal fraternity, tory or otherwise.

Sunak answers questions like my MP. However detailed, however clear ... ask a question they don't want to answer and presto, you get the usual statements that we knew already. At least I don't feel alone now as Anderson got the same sort of reply that I get from my tory MP.

Why have the taxpayers having to pay for this, should be the company that supplied the faulty software.

For once, Sunak could have answered a question incontrovertibly. Imagine if it was Mrs T who had stood up in response to this question. She would have ground Ed Davey into dust with her mockery, for his hypocrisy in calling for others to resign for their supposed misdemeanours, when he will not (so far), and his sheer cowardice in staying away and probably crying to Mummy. She would have mocked Ed Davey unremorsefully, but Sunak, apart from his ability to stab other's in the back for what he himself has done, and totting up a balance sheet, has no talents for PM on show whatsoever..........

Yes ed davey should clear his desk as should every tory mp . And if im being honest every bloody one of them from every party . This is the icing on this countrys current parlimentary cake .

It's really important that we don't allow knee-jerk demands for immediate resignations of prominent politicians to short-circuit, or pre-empt, the work of the Horizon Inquiry. The work being done here is vital for revealing the role of all politicians and employees of Post Office and Fujitsu at all levels, and there's no doubt that Sir Wyn and the Inquiry's solicitors are well aware of exactly who is responsible (from past sessions) and who is likely to be (based on sessions to come). Resignations will undoubtedly follow, but in the meantime we finally have a route to getting justice and compensation for those affected very quickly after a long delay.

Rishi seems proud that the government spent £150 million (of our money) on compensation for 2,500 victims of government incompetence and fraud - that equates to just £60,000 per person for loss of income, stress, imprisonment foe some, broken marriages and suicides. - the ministers would spill that much taxpayer subsidised booze at lunchtime - It's a cruel world,

Horizon brought in by the Blair government, most people charged under a Blair government starker was head of the prosecution service at the time, Tories inherited the mess and have been very poor resolving the issue but Davey was the post office minister who failed to do his job. He should now do the right thing and resign. No party comes out well in this instance just degrees of badness.
