This talk was delivered as part of the 2018 C.S. Lewis Institute Summer Conference in Wheaton, IL at the Marion E. Wade Center (part of Wheaton College). Dr. Jerry Root was our plenary speaker and taught on the theme of “Communicating the Gospel: C.S. Lewis Style” for a total of six lectures.
If you’ve never heard Dr. Root, you’re in for a treat. His passionate, engaging, and thoughtful presentation of important truths made him a favorite professor of Wheaton College students for years. He's been studying C. S. Lewis and a constellation of subjects related to Lewis since 1970. Both his MDiv thesis and PhD dissertation were about C.S. Lewis. Dr. Root has taught college and university courses on C.S. Lewis continuously since 1980.
