they are the most charismatic kpop group for me, never saw such a funny and interesting dynamic in a group. They all have pretty unique personalities and they match very well together, it really seems like they were characters of a sitcom

Same. I'm a fan of a lot of groups, NCT, Stray Kids, Ateez, BTS, EXO, etc. Everyone is pretty close with each other, however, SVT are kind of outliers with just how close they are. Kind of scary sometimes, but it's what makes SVT so great tbh

Joshua and Vernon give leader vibes because it’s an English interview. In English interviews both of them feel really comfortable and both translate for the rest. Specially Joshua (he’s from LA), he’s more comfortable with English. The fact you recognized right away that seungkwan is one of the most socials, he is such an extrovert They just did an MBTI going seventeen. It’s two parts. You should check it out!

Even with Jun's quietness is language-related. English would be his 3rd language, and he's definitely fluent in Korean, but I feel like he seems a lot more outgoing when he speaks Chinese (in Chinese shows like CYZJ for example).

The funny thing is there are more introverts than extroverts lol Also, Seungkwan is one of the most sociable idol in the industry, he's friends with everyone and enjoys appearing in reality shows

Seventeen actually has three leaders, one for each area of specialization! Woozi leads the vocal team (woozi, jeonghan, joshua, dk, seungkwan), Hoshi leads the "performance" dance team (hoshi, jun, the8, dino), and S.Coups leads the rap line (s.coups, wonwoo, mingyu, vernon). S.Coups is also the overall leader. His stage name comes from the romanized initials of his birthname (Seung-Cheol) and the military strategy of coup-de-tat! All the members have lyric writing credits on various songs and Woozi is a main producer for the majority of their discography as well. Hoshi helps choreograph their performances too!

Wow, well done for tackling such a big group. At first the number of members seems intimidating, but you soon get used to it :D It is a rite of passage for all kpop afficionados. Also props for attempting to memorise their names on first viewing, he could totally be a Jonah ;) I'd be interested in more Seventeen, their music is great, but I don't yet know the members that well.

I heavily agreed when you said the term "chaotic" gets thrown around in the kpop industry. EVERY group is called "chaotic", but I think Seventeen is one that TRULY embodies that word in almost every content and interaction we see from them 😆 They've all known each other since they were pre-teen/teen aged so I think they're just so comfortable with each other. There are no barriers with them.

it’s funny you said they seem to have more extroverts, since atleast from an mbti standpoint only 3 members are extroverted. there are a lot of loud “introverts” in seventeen

16 personality test is not reliable so we shouldn't pay attention to that(tho the introvert/extrovert part is easier to spot if you know them well so some can be true!) also most people or all are ambiverts!

I LAUGHED WHEN YOU SAID THE QUIETER MEMBERS WERE PROBABLY NECESSARY and even with the quieter members they still get so loud and chaotic since there's 13 of them... anyways definitely looking forward to more Seventeen content, they have very interesting dynamics in the group! This was a good reception of them. When I finally stopped fighting myself about checking out Seventeen, (I was nervous because they are 13 members), they immediately became my favorite group. The absolute best chemistry with many different personalities who know how to make things fun. They all seem to genuinely love being together and it’s evident because they all renewed their contracts. It does get chaotic most of the time because they have so many but it’s part of their charm. Their variety show “Going seventeen” is a must watch. And also “Seventeen In the Soop.”

Their chemistry with each other is on another level.. I can say they trust,love,and care for each other genuinely and act like brothers... That's why I felt so happy when they all decided to renew their contracts, with that so many members, it's definitely something to be proud of. More SEVENTEEN please☁️💎☁️ (It's kinda cheesy but) *slip into the Diamond life* (btw fandom name is CARAT) They are also having a comeback this july 18th with their repacked album Sector 17, it hasn't even been 2 months since their last comeback HOT (Face the Sun, their 4th Full album) Also, Idk if you know, SEVENTEEN is a self producing idol, first to have that title, since pre debut they have been writing, composing, and choreographing their music (sometimes even directing a MV) not for a title but because they couldn't really afford much before ( their company wasn't doing well when they debuted) Thank you for your reaction 💖

would love more seventeen! it will definitely get easier the more you watch. i will say about jun: he definitely tends to be reserved in more formal interview settings like this. part of this is bc his native language is Chinese and not Korean. hes been speaking Korean for 8+ years and is fluent in it, but he's not as confident in it. he's SUPER lively and talkative in Chinese, and the members often say he talks more off camera :')

You were so accurate about a lot of things. Wonwoo is really intelligent. He reads a lot and speak intelligently too. SCoups is the leader, so him trying to include everyone in the conversation makes sense. Seungkwan is the most outgoing one.

Seventeen's dynamic is honestly fascinating to me. There are so many of them but they all genuinely feel so close to each other and just give off this fun positive vibe. But once you get to know them better, you notice how they care for each other. The group is actually made up of a majority of introverts but they're just so comfortable with each other it doesn't seem like it, and the more extroverted or leading members pay attention and try to give everyone their time to shine, either by prompting the quieter members or by redirecting the energy towards them. Wonwoo (the "intellectual" one with glasses) is a very introverted and quiet person and had said that he sometimes feels like he doesn't belong but Seventeen never gave him that feeling and made him stand out even when he didn't do anything.

You saying you’re lost after almost perfectly figuring them out only with a short interview lol I’m impressed! Seungkwan who you described as the most sociable and a jokester, and dk who you described as a goofball are called by the fandom as the gag trio (the third one is Hoshi). And I love how you pointed out that scoups is the facilitator and tried to engage everyone, I didn’t even particularly notice that but that makes sense as he’s the leader.

I'm so exited about this 🥺🥺 I had a good laugh with Jonah jajaja he's one of my faves, you caught him in one of his most talkative interviews, he's usually very disconnected in US interviews. As always you were super on point with everyone!!! I'll be eagerly waiting 4mkre 4 more. My boy the8 (usually referred as Minghao) is also one of my 2 faves and as usual a quiet one. I love that while he hasn't pegged Seungcheol (S.Coups) as the leader, his assessment of him is very indicative of Coups' leader style. He's always looking and listening, keeping himself open to facilitate conversation between everyone, and then taking part as a secondary role. That, and he also seems to really enjoy leading and taking care of them. "they seem to really like each other" -- they love each other a lot!

I don't know Seventeen, but I do know Jun is Chinese. Maybe that's playing a role here? Love your tie in to Yeosang! It's amazing that you can remember so many different people's personalities. BTW, it's pronounced closer to Yuh-sahng than Yow-saing.

Seventeen really is one of the most chaotic groups, but that's precisely their charm Obviously there are the quieter members (like Jun, Vernon, The8, Wonwoo...) and the loudest members (DK, Seungkwan, Hoshi...), but overall they're all very communicative when they're comfortable and it's very satisfying see how much they like each other and are close. If you want to know more about them, without having to record react, I recommend "Going Seventeen", which is a show they've been doing since 2017 with MANY different dynamics, showing shows or playing games ("TTT 2020" episodes are my favorites, they get VERY drunk), and it's great to get to know their personalities and get closer to the group.

seventeen is really big group so they are divided in 3 sub-units and each one has a leader (s.coups for the hip-hop unit and the whole group itself, woozi for the vocal unit and hoshi for the performance unit); but actually there's another sub-unit which is booseoksoon (the jokesters)

S.COUPS is the overall Leader and Oldest, #Seventeen is a 13-member kpop group who debuted in 2015 that has three 3Units RAP, VOCAL and PERFORMANCE with three Leaders S.COUPS, WOOZI and HOSHI.

Lol i commend your efforts!! it's hard to analyze what is going on between 13 people while also trying to read captions, so I understand feeling overwhelmed. Haven't watched the video yet but I just wanted to say that Max you are one of the very few reactors that I actually watch nowadays. Most other reactions feel exaggerated, useless, or like they're being made only for the purpose of clout. While I am sure you most likely want to expand your channel, I have never thought you were reacting to people for the sole purpose of clout chasing. Your reactions actually give me things to look forward such as your typically accurate analyses, your insight, and your real-life tips and tricks that one can use for improving the way they communicate. Thank you so much for finally reacting to them! I was looking forward to it. I can completely understand how overwhelming it must be to watch all of them at once (even now it’s still hard for me sometimes) so maybe in your next reaction you should watch an interview where they are split up, like I dare you with Teen Vogue, or Superlatives with Seventeen (but S.coups is not present in these). Maybe Who’s who on Buzzfeed is best as everyone is there and split up. Thanks!!

It's Jeonghan and DK. I totally understand you when I first know them, I was confused of their names but after watching many videos of them especially their GOING SEVENTEEN episodes, you might see their true personality there.
