Hello mam! May i just clarify? Isn’t it that if we talk to a stranger, we employ consultative speech style. From the word ‘ consult’ we use this when we talk to a professional when we seek advise or knowledge from them or if we want to ask an info from a stranger such asking how to go to a particular street. Casual is used when we are talking to our peers, friends, the degree of formality of our words commonly is informal thus we our actuallu more comfortable using informal words such as slangs “street language” and we apply expressionism ( those bad words andexpressions that do not intend to curse but we just use as expression when we talk to our peers) and commonly when we use casual style are interaction is more lengthy and not short especially when we are talking to our friends.
simply to avoid miscommunication. our goal is to deliver the message effectively.we need to consider the context so that we will be guided on what language to use.
Thank you Ma'am . It really helps me a lot🧡 Btw ma'am. Can I ask a short composition of how shift in speech context, speech style, speech act and communicative strategy affects the message and delivery?
Hi maam may I ask how a change in communicative strategy gives both the listener and the receiver a radically different impression and dramatically alters the interaction length?
is this question specified for the 7 types of communicative strategy? there are many communicative strategy that is being termed generally. I just want to know
@@georgiaisabellechavez459 it al depends upon the situation, message, speaker and receiver. Example: Priest--doing a homily, that is restriction. The duration, message largely depends on the speaker (priest). You as the receiver, if you dont like the message, it gives a boring impression. If the message is too long, perhaps you dont like it. (It dpends on how interested you are. Your INTENTION of listening it ,requires NECESSITY + INTEREST.
Btw maam can i ask cause i don't know what to write the question is really making me crazy the question is ("When the concepts implies or create doubtful remarks due to shift in speech blank is affected
I thought interpersonal means that two or more people are involved... Why does it say in 11:17 na ang shift in speech context specifically, INTERPERSONAL is for reflections, decision-making, self-fulfillment, and experiences? D ba yan INTRAPERSONAL?
Activity II ESSAY WRITING. In a clean long bond paper, explain that a shift in speech context, speech style, speech act and communicative strategies affects the following: • Language form • Duration of interaction • Relationship of speaker • Role and responsibilities of the speaker • Message • Delivery HuHUHU pa answer po😭
Thank you so much maam. Btw I have a question what if you only shift in speech context, for example from interpersonal to intrapersonal. How will it affect the various elements of Communication? How will the shift in speech context affect speech style, speech acts, etc.?
that dependa upon the situation. u onky shift it because u feel there is a need to shift or the situation tells it so. for example Chatting to a friend - interpersonal. suddenly, the connection stops, u are waiting for ur friend. while waiting, you are in your intrapersonal mode.
thankyou maam i have a question po how a shift in speech context, speech style, speech act, and communicative strategy affect the relationship of the speaker with his audience, and his roles and responsibilities? thank you po ulit
What type of language, speech style, communicatibe strategy did the news reporter possibly use? How long could the news be possibly be reported or delivered? How would you explain the relationship of the speaker to the listener in this kind of situation?
Maam can you give your scenario on how the shift/change kn speech context, speech style, speech act and communicative strategy affects your role and responsibilities as a speaker?
how can the sudden change in communicative strategy in a conversation affect the quality interaction, the speaker, audience, relationship, the role and responsibilities of the speaker, the message and the delivery? ma'am pa reply sagot po pls. huhuhu
because you are in a different context...ur delivery of message wil.also change examople: parent- child talking- ur way of delivering is different..ur words too. vs. student-student different groups of people withndifferent speech contexts greatly affect message delivery
example: a parent advising to his/her child language form- mix of derclarative, interrogative duration- depends ( 5 min or longer) roles- mother/adviser/sender child/receiver message- advice from parent delivery - impromptu context- interpersonal ( dyad)
how can the sudden change in communication strategy in a conversation affect the quality of interaction, the speaker-audience relationship, the role and responsibilities of the speaker, the message, and the delivery po?
Huhu Sana po masagot niyo shift in speech act, style, context and communicative strategy na po Kasi pinag-aaralan namin and di po nag mi meet teacher namin kaya diko po magets masyado
Kunwari sa language form. Yung speaker habang nagsasalita puro declarative sentences yung gamit Niya since nagbibigay siya ng information. The bigla siyang nag nagchange from declarative sentences to interrogative sentences. Meaning he started asking questions to catch the audience attention. Mga ganyang klase ng galawan. Ewan yan kasii naintindihan ko sa video eh. 😆😆😆
Good Evening po! why the communication shift in variety of speech situations affects the language form, duration of interaction, message and delivery of the message?
When you consider different speech styles, contexts, acts, your communication varies based on the communication situation and you need to shift it to contextualize the situation. Consider the situation : When you talk to your parents, do you think you have the same style of talking compared to talking to your friends? of course you need to shift or change your words, the style, the way it is delivered, etc
the question as how it affects? it has a great effect on many certain levels in communication. the more you know the communication strategies, the better you become an effective speaker. Knowing all these is important as it is part of the foundation in communication.
@@TeachinglearningEnglish thank you po🤗, Ma'am pwede po ba itong maging example sa language form?Whenever you are you are recording for your video presentation, you must speak clearly. So, your viewers understand you.
