Everyone wants to belong to something. But we also want to be our own individual selves. People often worry that communities - especially religious communities - threaten to swallow people up and erase their individuality. But how does Christianity understand the relationship of its individual members to its community?
For our March meeting, we will be exploring some of the issues surrounding this tension between community and individualism, and the radical way in which Christianity rethinks them.
