From the sound of it it's really not a nerf. Healing and gen skill checks are by far the most common skill checks so from my understanding now it just won't affect stupid things like pyramid head's cage skill checks and ds skillchecks and won't stack with doctor's skill checks. Seems like a fine change to me, though I agree they should have buffed it a bit while they were looking at it.

This would be a GREAT change. Makes Undying a little weaker without gutting the essence of the perk, and turns TOTH into a better totem protector and very much worth running. I would run Devour with this in a heartbeat. Right now the only hex I run with undying is Ruin, and I dont get a ton of value out of the aura reading even though its nice. I'd rather try and protect Devour than have it respawn with no tokens, this would be a dope change

Honestly I think aura reading should stay with Undying, I think Thrill should label each totem with what hex they are. You could run it and know which totems need to be defended and which can be let go.

Giving it auras doesn't make it better. It just makes it a poor man's undying. Undying's other effects still overshadow Thrill's.

What if mori's only work on death hook and iridescent mori allows all 4 to die by your hand on death hook not before the green allows you to mori 2 people at your leisure on death hook and the yellow is any 1 person on death hook

I think the devs have to adress DCs and implement bots like they did on DBD mobile, they work very well there. Also, I think Myers should never be in the position where he can't stalk any of the 4 survivors anymore to reach Tier 3. It's a bad design choice IMO. No other killer can lose their power throughout the match. Make survivors lose "stalkyness" over time so Myers can stalk them again after a bit.

Trapper: I would like to see his trap auras be white. Other killers have their objects with white auras, and it's harder to spot those red auras, especially across the map.

I am in LOVE with his idea for a spirit rework. Not only would it add a layer of complexity and a whole new manner of thinking, it’s still makes it easier to locate her while still making it just as difficult to know where she is. It wouldn’t just make it more user friendly, it would make it FUN. She is as ghost after all, so I also like the idea of her moving grass while she’s in the Spirit World.

Map offerings would be fine if you knew you against a SWF. The game should tell you who is in a party with a little symbol above their heads. If you see a 4-man, you can expect the map offering and bring the offering that cancels maps.

@@CaptainDoomsday Pretty easy still though. You go in, and you see 2 or even 3 people already waiting when you join in as killer and you can already assume they are together. Puting the emblem would be nice. Some people don't like doing the toxic SWF shit. And it IS quite toxic depending on the group. Hence the reputation for it

@@kingol4801 Pretty much said 'fuck you' to players and made them fix it to do their own work. There was an incident where mapping and traveling was hard on Fallout 76 so a veteran player helped and reported bugs to devs; he got perma banned for it.

Other people in the comment section had ideas around Hex: Undying and Hex: Thrill of the Hunt One person said that Undying should not have the auras, and Thrill of the Hunt should. A different person disagreed and thought that Thrill of the Hunt should tell the Killer which totems have which Hex perks.

The devs DESPERATELY need to turn to community members such as yourself with thousands of hours of experience to be part of a sort of "Think Tank" that can come up with more realistic solutions to the problems in the game. Maybe have a conversation with others like Paulie, Tru3, OhTOfu and Noob3 about starting a group and then message the devs explaining who you are, what experience you have with the game and that you want to propose possible ideas that will help fix the game. I'm sure videos and conversations about content such as this would have FAR more impact if it was under these conditions as opposed to individuals making their own videos as it becomes more of a statement rather than an idea.

I personally think that if a survivor steps on a trap and escapes, it should have deep wound effect + slowness as long as deep wound is still active, after all, it is your foot that is injured

As a huntress main I heavily approve of the Iridescent head change, I have been saying the same thing for months. Thanks Otz for actively trying to improve the game and being the middle man between the community and devs with your platform!

In my spare time I remade every killer’s base kit to what I would consider perfection. Here’s my ideas, I hope any of them can contribute in any way. Trapper: Starts with 1 trap but can carry 2. The traps around the map spawn in this way: 1 trap within 8m, 2 traps within 16m, and 4 traps within 24m of the trapper’s spawn point. Escape times on your own are 100% successful, BUT are set at 8s. Rescue times at 5s and disarm at 6s. He should also have a 30s of undetectable at the start to set up in peace. Wraith: Really just giving him yellow Windstorm and bone clapper at base would make such a huuuuge difference without making him op. Maybe some lightened version of yellow Shadow Dance too. Billy: I think his base kit is fine but they deserve to look at his add ons again, most of his current ones are unfairly garbage. Sally: Same as Billy. Huntress: For every hatchet she is short of, she gets a 1% bonus movement speed, up to being a 115% killer when out of hatchets. Myers: Tier 1 takes half as little time to get out of. Stalking is range irrelevent, meaning stalking at 20m has the same effect as stalking someone at 2m. Finally, HE CAN'T RUN OUT OF GODDAMN JUICE. That part is just so bad. He should also get a 10% increased action speed in Tier 3. Hag: I like Michi's changes, I trust him as a good Hag main, but I think on the flipside traps should not be highlighted when using a flashlight and could take longer to destroy. Doctor: Literal perfect base kit. Bubba: Was buffed recently and I think he's fine. Freddy: I agree he shouldn't be able to completely negate BT. Maybe upon hitting a survivor, they get the old Dream Transition where it takes them 5s to fully fall asleep. Pig: Some of these ideas are taken from Tericho actually: Her crouched speed should be increased so she can afford to patrol the map while crouched. Her dash should break pallet with a similar cooldown to Demo's. I also think she shouldn't be able to completely run out of her own power, so for each 4/5/whatever survivors hooked she gets one RBT back. To make it less frustrating to VS her, the pause of the timer is generously increased whenever someone with an activated trap is being chased. Clown: Simply make his bottles reload automatically!! Once he's out of bottles, they would start reloading at a rate of 1 every 2s, the same as Blight; and he can start using them again only when fully reloaded. And he should start with 5. Would save him literal minutes of just standing around to reload. Also like Otz mentioned, throwing a bottle at a gen would start regressing said gen and apply whichever perks you have available. Also, hitting a survivor directly with one would give them an effect similar to Shock Therapy. Spirit: I would honestly be fine if there was a clear indicator of when she's phasing. I would make her husk change stances significantly, maybe have some dark aura around her. Her footstep sounds should also be brought up and she should rustle grass. Legion: Legion's initial frenzy would last only 5 seconds. BUT, for each successive frenzy hit, the timer is refilled and increased by 5 seconds everytime, up to a maximum of 25s. Similarly, the cooldown would start at 4s and be decreased by 0.5s for every hit down to 2s. Mending would take 8 seconds solo though. Like this, survivors have to be wary of when to mend or keep giving Legion his power. Plague: Sick survivors should have an action speed debuff, maybe -4% every minute down to 16% to pressure survivors into cleansing a bit more. Ghostface: 20s of recovery base and I'll be happy. Demoboi: Rat liver base. It's not that hard. Also, portals should take MUCH, MUCH longer to seal, and Demo STARTING the teleport action should push anyone off of them. I also feel he deserves shred range addons. Oni: I would just make his charge time for Demon Dash about 20% faster, and also reduce the penalty when downing a survivor while in fury at base. Deathslinger: Similar to Huntress, he should be at 115% speed when his speargun isn't reloaded. Pyramid: I guess he's fine now. Blight: Still too early to say imo. That's it please anyone give me feedback I had to write this twice cause battery died

Plague is already cancer to face, we don't need her to punish survivors for not wanting to be machinegunned while ALSO being 1 shot. Deathslinger and huntress need to be punished for neglecting to reload. Your systems for traps spawning for trapper would just have a big pile of traps around where he spawned which makes him backtrack a ton.

@@hYdrantoxide "Neglecting to reload" is not a thing, both these killers reload asap whenever they have a chance and don't have to be punished for it. And Plague is not cancer, she's weak and the way survivors face her by sitting their ass on gens is boring

As someone who plays a lot of Plague I don't think she needs that big of a buff. It might make sense to have a small action speed debuff but nothing close to 50%. Maybe 2% per minute after being broken for a max of 16% so that it counters resilience after a few minutes and is comparable to thanatophobia. I completely agree with the Wraith suggestion, it's honestly long overdue. I don't play any of the others enough to have a strong position on your other suggestions, but I do like the sound of the Huntress change since her lack of mobility is her main weakness. My only question would be how it would interact with add ons that provide additional hatchets. Also, this might just be a personal thing but I kinda wish doctor was able to directly manipulate the hallucinations for more interesting mind games. I enjoy playing against him as survivor but I feel like actually playing as him isn't as enjoyable since its just shock and basic attack most of the time. Also his power becomes a lot less effective against high rank survivors who know how to deal with madness and draw out chases.

I like the majority of these. I don't know what problem the Legion change is fixing, and the clown seems nuts when he can just spam bottles and remotely kick gens as he's running around.

No not at all. If anything it shows that the community (or the ppl like otz who actually give feedback instead of fix your game) actually cares for the game and is trying to help it, most games and most devs listen less than bhvr and the community most of the time shits on the game without giving feedback only saying buff x nerf y fix your game etc. Otz doing this shows that he and his community believe in the game and in the devs which is good

As a game designer, these types of videos from high-tier players are always fun to watch (regardless of whether it's a game I work on). Many of the problems described are still unresolved as of Apr 2021, so here are my comments as a fairly bad (rank ~4, 100hrs played) mostly-Killer player: _1. Love the mori ideas._ Especially if there's no indication what you're running at first, but as you're 1-2 hooks away from "activating your mori" an icon appears to let the survivors know they should change up their game. _2. Map offerings aren't a problem, except that maps aren't balanced._ I think your brutal-yet-simple "Can't use Map Offerings in a group of 3+ players" solution is fairly elegant and _reasonably_ easy to implement, but the better long-term solution would be to make sure maps aren't so crazy different in terms of win rates of Survivor vs. Killer. I don't think it's realistic to perfectly balance all Killers to all maps, since maps vary so much, but they should look into some of the most extreme problems. (If they have good analytics on Killrate-by-Killer-by-Map then they probably already know the maps which are the biggest outliers, and from there they can work out what parts of the killers' kits are either too good on that map (traps on indoor maps like Hawkins?) or not good enough (killers with slow movement dealing with wide-sprawling maps).) _3. "Meta perks" is too vague._ There will always be meta perks no matter what. What matters is that the best perks should always be getting slightly weaker, and the worst ones slightly better. This has to be a continual process on a perk-by-perk basis. But basically in a perfectly balanced game you'll still have meta things which are the most common and popular, but ideally you'll also have some options for the other side to counter the most common picks so that people are rewarded for picking the less-common choices (which should be balanced to be just as effective as those popular meta picks, it's just they're less popular.) _4. Keys._ Don't really like how anti-social the 1-sec key that only saves 1 player is. I think it's good for keys to be a teamplay thing, but I just think there needs to somehow be more counterplay around it, like: * Using a key on a hatch is a 30-second process. * The first time it's used, everyone gets a distinct "key cracking open the spacetime fabric of the universe" sound effect map-wide. * Everyone sees the hatch's aura for 5 seconds when this happens. * The Killer can "kick" the hatch to revert progress like a gen. * When the full unlock completes, another map-wide sound effect plays for everyone and reveals the hatch 5 sec again. * When unlocked players have a 1-2 sec "hop through the hatch" animation _which only allows one survivor at a time to jump through._ Survivors can be 'yoinked' during this anim. * Critically this creates two mechanics which allow VERY FINE TUNING of hatch escape difficulty: if a key takes 60 sec to unlock and hatches regress at 300% speed, hatch escapes will probably almost never happen. But if it's 20 sec with 200% regression, well...any single survivor chase can waste that much time and everyone on their team can escape. With this system I could even see a rule added like "holding a key causes the hatch to appear to you one gen earlier than normal". _5. Like the NOED suggestion._ Surprised they didn't end up doing that, seems like that'd be easy for them to rework.

With the iridescent hatchets for Huntress, I like that option where the insta-down only occurs after a certain distance, but you could also probably have the hits cause the Broken status for a short duration if within a shorter distance, that way survivors at least know that the Huntress has the add-on equipped and will still be strong/worth using.

Totems are extremely unbalanced. You either have luck or not, thats all it, nothing else. Sometimes, no one finds my totem, its an easy 4k, but if my totem is found instantly, all will escape. Hex Undying is the ONLY thing, that makes it more consistent. Instead of fixing totem placement (or survivors spawning right next to a totem every fkin match on purpose :DDDD ), they put something in that forces survivors to destory all totems instead. My idea once was, why not make Hex Perks lose power, with each totem destroyed? Is that so hard? Like, atleast you have something to patrol for too as killer, and remove survivors spawn close to a totem.

Maybe have it so that hex undying jumps to a different totem and the previous perk takes its place. That would mean if you know where 2 hex perks are, and you cleanse the non undying, then you can tell where the perk isn’t and can avoid cleansing the same perk 2 or three times.

I think a perk tier system with most used perks being top tier would be good. Those perks on swf teams would take two slots. These would include detection style perks as well, like kindred. If you're on coms, it is assumed you are sharing this info so it should take up an extra slot since you're basically giving it to your whole team by communicating.

As a survivor main I really like looping and getting chased, it is the best strategy you can do to waste a killers time. What I only care about right now are two things. 1. Getting polished hitboxes/collisions from objects or tiles. They don’t have to be the exact for every single object, but in a whole tile they should make them smooth for looping. 2. Show a little love to “KyF” or custom games. With hexys tournament I hope people saw how scuffed kyf really is with the spectator cameras. Also please let me start a game on my own. If possible create a “free look” cam as a spectator and enable “cheats”/console for practicing/analyzing. I know many people don’t see this game very competitive, but some do as seen in hexys tournament. Not necessary asking for replaying old games, just accessing commands like adding hp, infinite ammo, removing status effects, adding bots or showing hitboxes/collision of objects and players.

Having traps inflict 1 health state of damage by default would be nice too, that way if a survivor stepped into a trap while injured they go down. That or if they stepped into a trap while injured they have the Honing stone effect and would go down if they freed themself, which I think you mentioned that before.

I really like that idea for a rework to object. There has yet to be a perk added to the game that shows you some sort of aura while you/anyone is being chased. If you are running object and you are the obsession, while you are being chased the auras of 1/2/3 other survivors are revealed to you, they see your aura as well. If you are not the obsession, your aura is only revealed to the obsession. You still get to see everyone elses auras. I think this is one niche within aura reading perks that hasn't been explored yet and otz had gotten my brain thinking after hearing him talk about it.

I love how the changes not only fit in general as good ideas, but many also go along with the idea of the perk. Like No One Escapes Death. If it were based upon how many unique hooks you had before the last gen gets completed, it'd make much more sense. Like, the killer hooks a survivor and they get saved. Once end game arrives, the killer will make clear that no one can escape death~

Imagine if the Pig has a guaranteed 4 search on the current obsession, and it would re-roll to a random number (between 1-4) minus how many they already found if they are no longer the obsession? (So, if they searched 2, they could roll either 1 or 2.) And, if they already searched, and become the obsession (for some reason), they will have their current roll raised to 4. That would make Nemesis an INCREDIBLY interesting perk to play around, and be a good strat against other Obsession perks.

The biggest problem is SWF. They can be OP because of the communication and coordination. The only way to fix this is to give all survivors in game voice chat with the option to mute people of course. Now that every lobby has this coordination and communication we can balance the game accordingly.

It's not completely RNG, Freddy appears on the side of the generator opposite to it's floodlights. This is conditional to that side not being blocked by a survivor or a wall. if it is blocked then he will appear in the nearest free space available. if there is no free space available then he will simply appear on top of a survivor. I think a better quality of life improvement would be to allow him to see where he has placed his snares, as I often see even experienced Freddy's placing snares directly next to snares they placed 2 minutes ago on the same loop. this would allow Freddy to manage his snares better and encourage new survivors not to just throw them down like candy and waste more powerful snares they place earlier.

Props to you and the community, those are all very good suggestions. The only one I'd change is NOED, since a facecamping Bubba doesn't need more than 2 instadowns to get a 4k. Personally I think it would be nice if it exposed only survivors who where hooked at least once. That way it could still be very rewarding, but good survivors wouldn't feel cheated by the perk.

Survivor perks- when you become injured, tap into your adrenaline bank, avoiding any damage, dashing forward and escape from your aggressor. This applies the exhausted effect. Killer perks- if u hit pallet, next pallet that hit you break, generator blocked at beggining of trial, if survivor open chest, u get notification, u open locker fast

Myers should get to ignore one pallet drop when he hits T3. It's a simple change that makes him scarier in a very on-brand way. Myers in the movies is a tank that rarely ever shows signs of feeling pain and most things don't phase him, so it makes sense to have him not care about a pallet being dropped when he's closing in for the kill.

Cruel Limits rework idea: Your ties to the otherworldly manifest when your prey attempts to get away. Each time a generator is completed, Cruel Limits activates for 20/25/30 seconds. During this time, all the survivors who were in a 32m range from the said generator will scream, revealing their location to you for 6 seconds, and will suffer of the Exposed status effect for 60 seconds if they choose to leave this range. Survivors who were further than 32m from the completed generator are unaffected by Cruel Limits.

[22:00] It would be really fitting if the glimpses you'd see in during Rin's phase were her passive phasings. So the passive phasings would work for her when she is just normaly chasing and somewhat against her when she is phasing, evening it out. That would also nerf the MotherDaughterRing because she'd obviously passive phase more often during her actual phase. And aaaaalso -> BHVR wouldnt have to make a new animation which would probably be something really awkward like her just standing at her current position for half a sec. Which would suck with the amount of potential we have here. And, at last, it would be absolutely terrifying to see a Spirit _'slowly'_ passive phasing toward you which is ultimately what this game was once supposed to be about. A scary hide and seek game - so it would fit into the very narrative of DbD. Also: no red stain. It's just supposed to be a short glimpse of where she might be - not an all out blinking warning sign notifying everyone in a global radius.

Another change for NOED to go along with your idea of it being being based on unique hooks, might be being able to cleanse the totem before gens are complete. Not only will it let survivors spend less time worrying about doing totems but it will streamline the perk with other hex perks that use tokens like Huntress Lullaby and Devour Hope that you can cleanse before the killer gets any tokens. A trade off for this might be letting NOED activate as soon as you get the same amount of tokens as survivors left in the trial, even if all gens are not complete.

Gen idea I've always had: Up the generator total repair times to be 120 seconds (+50%) but give every survivor a passive round-permanent repair speed bonus that incrementally increases the longer they work on gens (+1% gen speed per second), and by how many great skill checks they have made(+5%) , up to 75% speed (potential perks to influence build-up time and total speed) that gets disabled and cannot increase while a survivor is injured. Perhaps Toolboxes instead of their current use would allow survivors to bypass this injury lockout. The idea behind this change would allow for a slow, low pressure start in exchange for a rapid paced finale that would effectively allow killers to choose early on between controlling the pace of the game more by patrolling gens and preventing the repair speed building up too fast by injuring/ switching targets (but not stopping the pace of the game completely) or take risks and go for an early hook at the cost of the other survivors being more dangerous in the long run. This would also passively reward killers for switching targets instead of tunneling, and survivors for staying hidden for long periods. Late-game this would create a dynamic VIP value to each survivor based on what they've been doing all game. Survivor A with 2 hooks whos been getting chased all game is less dangerous to the killer at this point as he would still be taking upwards of 100s to finish a gen by himself, while Survivor B has been repairing all game is much more threatening being able to finish a gen on his own in only 60s before any perks or items.

For spirit I think instead of glimpses, scratch marks can be delays by 4 seconds, up to 2 like a reverse lightweight. It would be harder for spirit to track and would give surviviors a better chance to get away or bait her.

On the forums, I presented the idea of Overwatch-style restrictions, such as the personal perks being fixed to each character with the fourth slot being for a "trump card" perk (whatever general/teachable perk the player wants) that disappear after the match is over and limiting the Survivors to one character at a time. While it would definitely shake up the meta (which is not necessarily a bad thing), it would give some variety for both sides that would require some strategy like team composition. Unfortunately, this may make certain Killers more difficult and challenging to play, but that just means they were broken from the start and need to be reworked.

Object rework: When the killer starts a chase, you see both the killer and chased survivors auras for 4/6/8 seconds. When you are chased, all survivors see the killers aura as well as yours for 4/6/8 seconds. Whenever Object Of Obsession relieves any auras, the killer see's the Users Aura for 4/6/8 seconds.

Change to make Legion better: Move faster per survivor hit while in Frenzy, once 3 or 4 survivors are put into deep wound, next person hit that is in deep wound gets downed (increase duraration of ability massively but reduce the time you have per consecutive hit to make the one shot only usable on survivors who stick together) Make it so that people in deep wound won't stop their own timer by running, and instead the timer goes down while running, and goes back up while walking/standing still, you would have to run for approximately 20 seconds to get downed, however standing still for 1 second would count as 2 for increasing the meter, walking for 1 second would equate to 0.5 seconds added back, maybe even have a system where if you survive long enough with deep wound (maybe a few second, say around 30 seconds) you would be cured from deep wound the next time you got the timer back to full, I would also think adding incapacitated alongside the deep wound wouldn't be far fetched, since you wouldn't need to mend anymore and would just have to wait a short amount of time before being able to do a gen (which would tie in well with the parts system because it would slow you down and stop you from running) it would give the Legion some reasurance that the survivor that he just hit won't be able to progress the game for a short amount of time, which would give him the game delay he needs (he would still have thana and such, but maybe it wouldn't become a necessity and other perks could be used) Maybe another feature could be added where the more time people spend in deep wound, the more Legion's new meter would charge, which once full would grant the Legion the ability to cancel his feral frenzy in half the time (maybe not a good idea but still something like that could spice things up)

I really think Wraith should be fully invisible due to having an uncloaking animation, and that Spirit should have the clear look that wraith has (possibly with Spirit seeing survivors in similar clear look while in phase) or have that be the case while she is being glimpsed. Scratch marks are deceptive, so being able to know "Oh, survivor is there" will be equally helpful. I have a hard time with determining direction of sound, so having little glimpses would help people like me play the spirit as well.

They should put bear traps in lockers. Like hanging there so that instead of having to go find them, he can just open a locker and grab his traps. That way survivors won't spawn, see a trap in front of them and be like "oh its a trapper". And it should take less time for him to grab them from the lockers than huntress. With the clown reload, yknow how he swishes his bottle around? Maybe for each bottle is each full swish? Like if hes missing one he sloshes it once or if he's missing 2 he does for 2 rotations and etc.

My idea for a keys rework would be; 1) Make doors a thing. Seriously, half of the new breakable walls could be swapped out for doors the killer could open and close at will, but survivors would need a key and use some of its charge to go through them. That would lead into change 2) Make it so a key only keeps the hatch open for a limited time based on the charge used. At 100% that would be 4 seconds, 3 at 75%, etc. Then 3) Make it so killers can pull you out of the hatch if they're close enough again. That would force survivors to peace out immediately and not just wait for you to show up so they can t-bag or w/e. And of course, making it so opening hatch has a 2-3 second animation that can be interrupted would be extremely helpful for the same reason. They could even toy with the possibility of creating an ultra-rare key add-on that reduces the time it takes to open hatch.

I dont know if its really like that, but i played quite a few matches and have the feeling that if you stalk more than one surviver at the same time, you dont charge EW faster, but the stalk power drains from all survivers at the normal speed. A good solution for this would be to either make stalking several people leveling EW faster, or make it that all stalked survivers get their stalking potential drained more slowly so you dont waste more power than you actually get.

I dont like the idea of keys leaving your teamamtes behind at all. This randomnessfactor of finding the hatch and instandly winning and the aspect to leave your team behind/have 3 people randomly escape are just not fun and its not possible to balanced that. I had a very interesting idea what to do with keys and i thought maybe some people are intrested in the idea. Keys still have there strong addons and could even get new ones, that do even more, but they are not able to open the hatch anymore. To stay at the theme keys have, to open something, the could open chests in 1 sec and increase you chance of getting good stuff. Keys would still be strong but they would becoe a fun little mechanic.

I play both sides but at least with keys a majority of gens need to get done i.e. 5 to get all out. 1 hook per person to kill them just isnt good enough. I think keys and moris should be used more as endgame then early game tools so multiple hooks and keys only working on gates.

I came up with a system for traps that makes it RNG while still being somewhat fixed. On the first attempt there is a 1% chance to escape on the second 4 % chance thrid 8% chance and so on.

I *Love* the notes on the Spirit! Although it wasn't mentioned, the two changes make loads of sense. The movement of brush would make some sense, as she's like a gust of wind while in the spirit realm, and as for the 'Glimpses', I doubt they'd even have to work like Freddy. It was neglected to mention that the Spirit already has her Passive Phasing feature in which she twitches around violently leaving still images of herself. Simply have the passive phase still tick during the phasing, leaving a couple after images for a few frames as she moves. There's already precedent for this sort of thing in Spirit's Kit! Not to mention, you could make it to where the addons that affect her Passive Phasing (Tree and Blossom) inversely effect the glimpses.

Clown could get bottle tokens like the chainsawers or bumpercarman, but instead of passive regeneration it regens on hold, so if you have some still it will, as you offered, not take as long as a full 5, but also if you only regen 2 of them from empty because you start a chase, it wasn't wasted time.

NOED rework idea: As long as hex totem stands When a generator is completed you get 1 token. For every token you insta down on next hit. Also if all 5 gens are done you get 0, 1, 2 tokens(going up with lvl) and you get current noed speed buffs. What do you think people?

Here's an idea if the devs want survivors to just "do bones" rework small game. In addition to it's current effects, the cooldown is a set 20 seconds, and for each totem cleansed on the map, gain a token, each token giving 5/7/10% bonus bloodpoints in the boldness category, up to a max of 50% (unless it's not level 3, then itd be 25/35%)

I think DBD should come out with one big experimental ptb, try things they wouldn't normally try and maybe even make outrageous changes to killers that might actually work but mostly won't

41:20 I different idea is you spawn with all your traps like the hag but unlike the hag after you place all of them thats when you can only hold 2 or more with the bags. This cuts early game go and grab time because you won’t need to grab till later and make it quicker to get set up in key location. For example if there was a gen it the shack you would have to go there put down the trap then find another now you would just set up and go hunting. Again using shack as an example if you already placed your first two down now and have to go get more the shack gen may be almost done so no one would go back there as frequently and it hurts you so much with. With this it allows you to cut the early game crap and then go on to do other things.

CLown probably needs a bit of a rework. Not a giant one, but a little. Id like one of the dyes to be baseline for the trapper. Dyes are very good, despite being a rather minor effect. Logwood Dye - or maybe even Tar Bottle - baseline would mainly open up other addons, similar to how +1 trap capacity would mainly just open up addons. A dye being baseline is also good from a learning perspective: Trappers wouldnt "need" to learn 3 sets of trap locations, while survs would not need to learn 3 sets of visual cues to look out for. THe experience would be streamlined.

As a wraith main, i think a better debuff to wraiths stillness would be to make it hook centric, because i like to use that one perk that tells you where survivors are when gens are done to intercept survivors paths, and that wouldn't work if they saw me.

I always think that changing NOED to the machine gun build is a good idea. Faster recovery times of attacks and an increase to movement speed maybe like 10% instead of 5%. NOED would still feel strong and scary to face against but not unfun and unfair.

Can I make a comment on totems, I feel that there are obvious inconsistencies with hexes and totem spawns, and have seen numerous change ideas, and have settled on one I think would work at least decently well. Only allow a dull totem to ignite when it's effect is active. For ruin this is when a gen breaks from ruin for the first time, for DH its the first hook. Blood favor, first basic attack. Etc. This guarantees a killer at least gets a slight benefit from a hex even if it gets found right after proc'ing. It also prompts survs to do bones for more than just noed and BPs. This would also allow for killers to know what hexes are on what totems as they would flare up when activated.

2 ideas I’ve had in my head for a long while, 1 take away the ability to bring keys the unlock the hatch make it a flat 25% you can find it in one chest During a game and make it so only one survivor can make it through the hatch. It can also lead to new offerings like raising the percentage of finding the key. I Think this would be healthy for the game so if someone is three gening or camping the exit gates you still have a small chance of escaping it may be not make it to where only one who can get through. 2nd I would like to see a mechanic to where if a survivor is on the hook and the killer stays within a 10 m meter range of the hooked Survivor the killer begins to get in effect called tunnel vision and become slower and has increased time between swings the longer they are on the hook to encourage them to go find other survivors the longer they are there the more penalties unless they are in endgame collapse then they are completely normal this would encourage the use of other healthy perks like save the best for last.

My idea for Myers is this: merge T2 and T1: current T3 becomes new T2 T1 is undetectable like old T1 but has the speed of old T2. When new T2 runs out you are sent back to new T1

I think there’s a huge issue with the iri head fix and that’s survivors getting in that range where she can’t exactly m1 you and if she uses her only hatchet (unless paired with the 2 extras add on) she will waste tons of time getting to lockers with little return. I think iri heads are definitely a problem but a change like that wouldn’t make sense being a pink anymore

I think Iri Head, instead of putting a range limit, just make it so that max hatchets are 1, and trumps all other addons, because having one hatchet to insta down is actually weaker than 5 normal, and allows more huntress players to use it rather than limiting usage to the top skill bracket of huntress users.
