I agree. Every country, every religion, every race has good and bad people. Whatever kind of marriage or relationship anyone is in, never give a second chance to the abusers whether it’s a man or a woman. They never change and it only gets worse

I’ve heard that the most dangerous time in an abusive marriage is when the woman tries to leave. I remember a case when a wife was at the courthouse to get a restraining order and her husband killed her there.

​@@jessamalala6203 exactly...smh. 🙄 Telling someone, "you should leave at the first sign of abuse", is a simplistic way of thinking. Raising children to know their value and encouraging them to know how important they are is vital. Low self-esteem is one of the biggest reasons victims stay. Too often they already feel unworthy. Add an abuser who tears them down, isolates them, controls them, the finances, etc, makes it almost impossible for them to leave.

Millions of people in many countries have arranged marriages. Including India and nepal. Even though I had a masters degree and was a college professor I had no other choice but to have an arranged marriage and met my husband only twice and got married within 15 days 40 years ago. We were happy and brought up two wonderful sons. I lost him 3 years ago from 911 cancer. He became a fireman and gave back to the community he lived in. Different from USA where 60 percent marriages end up in divorce.

I suspect the family does not want to talk about what they consider insider family issues. Nepal is NOT an open society. I don’t think you will hear much from the mother and brother going forward.

I dont think family will come forward, language barrier and a different culture will not let them speak. Holly is amazing and we should appreciate her.

That monster of her husband, was going to leave USA. He sold her car or their car, was trying to sell the house to a couple, pool of blood in their bedroom & bathroom, evidence that she was dragged from the house out, 2 knives out of 3 he just bought on the same day of her disappearance are missing, bought cleaning supplies the day after, passport of him & the baby on the table when police searched the house, transferred all her money into his account, all his lies, notified she was missing 5 days after and probably because her co workers called police that she was missing work..., if it wasn't because they called the police this guy would have left the country and nobody would have noticed anything since he discarded the body and she has no family in USA. That monster deserves the electric chair asap!! What else do you need to convince yourself that sadly this young girl has been killed by the monster she married.

Did you listen/watch the video? She said the police are working very hard behind the scenes. They can't announce publicly much of what they're doing because they need to be able to build a solid case against the husband so he can be prosecuted. There's no way to make him talk because he has refused to cooperate with investigators and has a lawyer.
