Community Resilience: Preparing for Emergencies with the SES 

While emergencies and disasters are difficult to predict or control, our ability to adapt and respond to these experiences is something that we - as individuals and as a community - can actively work to develop. This is known as building resilience.
Communities coming together, sharing knowledge and experiences help develop stronger neighbourhoods.
Residents in Chittaway Point, on the NSW Central Coast have come together to developed a Community Action Team, also known as a Community Resilience Team.
