I'd use those quick grease hose connectors for a grease gun and run a line too a local point easier to grease. Just would need a health for heat but be alot more convenient. Next step need a lil primer button bowl full of grease that you can just pump with your thumb a couple of times so you don't need a gun every day

That’s what I’m doing now. I attached a 8” grease zerk extension and it’s working great. Still prefer this compared to oil and water lines.

Would be a good candidate to have a 2nd or 3rd stage of water methanol injection set to spray into the compressor. Maybe some nitrous too :)

I just talked to Earnie at SEMA a couple days ago about my 4th gen Fbody rear mount project, really nice guy and wanted your business. Might give them a shot.

I really think a rear mount set up would be so cool. As long as you think of it like a nitrous bottle that never ends and get an expensive muffler it’s a win win! I want to do it in my rx7!

These are so cool. However the grease price is crazy. I wish someone had the nuts to do a test with these with regular grease you can get anywhere, like Lucas or even amsoil would be cheaper.

My comp has this same hole opposite of the grease fitting. I'm guessing I just need to plug it?
@kingersgarage
@kingersgarage Год назад
I honestly don't know for sure. At first they said it was a vent hole, then I sent it back for a new turbine housing and it came back without a hole. I would call Ernie there and see what he thinks

Loke any other turbo, no different.

How is it holding up? How many times have you had to pump it with grease? Do you know what the grease is made of?
@kingersgarage
@kingersgarage 2 года назад
They recommended I give it 2 -3 pumps before every ride. In a car rear mount location they say every 3000 miles! In a front mount with more heat say every 1000. It’s fast and easy provided you have access to your turbo easily.

@@kingersgarage yeah mine's going in a rear mount setup but should I still pump it before every ride?
@kingersgarage
@kingersgarage 2 года назад
That’s what I did, but I’m not 100% sure it needs it on a snowmobile application. Mine had a hole underneath the cartridge that wasn’t supposed to be there, they have since swapped it out for the right one, and now I’m not sure if I pump it every ride, maybe every 3 to 400 miles
@Mito2009
@Mito2009 2 года назад
If you pump it with grease every time, where does the old grease go? Is that what the vent is for?
@kingersgarage
@kingersgarage 2 года назад
@@Mito2009 hello! I guess it evaporates with heat over time. The hotter you get the more grease you need.
@DanCycles

so, instead of just a oil line and NO work, now you need to add grease all the time, and is their "special" grease... nah
