We are starting strong with unit comparison. First unit we will compare in CoH3 are tanks! Results might surprise you but they might also give you insight on how to use tanks properly also...
Side/rear armor, movement speed and turret rotation speed are also important to consider. Most tanks are not going to square off face to face and shoot each other. They might have strength in their ability to out maneuver the other tank.
All of these tanks have close enough manoeuvrability that they cant out run each other. With regards to side armor it is not enough for any tank to bounce of rounds. You often get hit to the side even when facing enemy frontal with somewhat angles. But turret speed can be added. But to be honest if some1 is using his tank properly he might win with Grand vs Panther if he combined arms :D
Just a note here but technically the Panther would probably be again the best medium tank if it was counted as such here like it was in the previous games.
Yoyoy Thanks for comment :) Decided not as we did a pure comparison based on performance not cost efficiency. But to be honest costs are widely different. Germans can skip whole tiers and Brits for Example can not and that makes a big difference in costs :D
@@DavidZhoushutup special ammo does give it icreased penetration and against Sherman's without armor upgrade does 22 more dmg but against fully upgraded Sherman it still does same dmg so it loses to it because of lower hp :)
Well, really you should be taking _price performance_ into consideration. How does the Easy 8 stack up to the Panzer IV when all the manpower is spent. Because, if you're playing well, it's about how effectively you're spending your resources
I think it’s to avoid the craziness of coh2 with certain tanks doing insane damage and having high armor while tanks like the t34 could never get even 1 pen even in the rear
Yes prices are almost same not a huge difference. Deep dive for tanks is coming where we will take costs in consideration as well as other aspects which are different
