I think this was around the time he was coming to terms with his sexuality and could really see himself in Bobby. You can see the struggle in his eyes during the interview, so glad he is happy with who he is now 🙂

I only discovered his brilliance by feeling his emotion in Hallelujah , wow oh wow as Ihoigjgi was dramatic , and theatrical , but I play this daily as I feel the need to get trauma grief out and I sing with him but my way . I applaud this brilliant but lovely human being bravo bravo

He accompanies Sondheim's work so well, i think because like he said he doesnt need to do all this extra stuff but just play as the character and let the music speak for itself, he seems to know and understand the role very well. also you can tell he is just a big fan and really loves and respects his work and look up to him. this is by farrrrr my favorite production of company and i think the best
