I'm picky about tube screamer circuits too, but that one sounds pretty good. I'm partial to the clipping sound of the 1980 TS9. It strikes me as darkest and the overdrive and pick attack sound more unified to my ears for some reason.
Sasha you are taking it over the top.... Those are 3 great pedals

Nice demo. Nordvang pedals plays in another league! The Triple Gain (BB+TS10+Klon) could be the ultimate gain pedal. Since you love the Wingman, you could also check the Decibelics Golden Royal which is a nice boutique dual Klon getting a lot of love as well. Cheers.
Funny you uploaded this video. Only last week I started stacking my DS-1 with an 808 clone. The DS-1 sounds like a fuzz pedal to me with the tone around 9 o clock this way. Generally speaking the DS-1 sounds kinda fuzz-ish with low tone, you agree?
it's really weird for me watch your demos, because you always sound equal, and you are the proof of "the tone are in the fingers", klon, Blues Breakers, transparents etc always sound the like the same type of OD, and the same for the fuzzes (Bender-Fuzzface, etc), univibe and the list continues. Great demo
Hey Sasha, I have a King of Tone already. I am wondering if you think the wingman in front of it could give me similar tones to the ‘83 drive. Thoughts?
@@orpheus1340 Only if you use a single adapter and are daisy chaining the pedals. Especially combining digital pedals and fuzz pedals on that single line will cause noise. A power supply with isolated outputs will help minimize that noise
I emailed the builder directly, he put me on an email notification list. Took 1 month. Ordered the pedal and it's brilliant. It seems to sell out rather quickly, but he is constantly making new batches.
