Oh my gosh! I've been using the Prismacolor pencils for the past 5 1/2 years while in the hospital. I've now got my boyfriend also drawing with Prismacolor pencils. He's 70 years old and I'm 71. Thank you for the wonderful give-a-way!
I've been using Prismacolor products for more than 30 years. I've sometimes had an urge to find the next big thing but always go back because they're just plain good. Now my kids are using up all of my pencils and I have to pick up new sets all the time.
I have used so many different ones, and I just bought my first premier prismacolor, they by far are the best. Can’t believe I didn’t buy them earlier. Just in-love with them.
Thank you so much! Many times I'm looking for help with my coloring, there are so many people hating on prisma color. But I love using them, and I love that they are affordable and can be found almost everywhere. If people see my work and want to recreate it, I don't want them to have to give an arm and a leg to enjoy making art.

I just found Prismacolor Premier Pencils myself watching this channel. After buying my own set I am impressed with these pencils. I want more including their alcohol markers. Another medium I am in love with after buying water base markers that leave streaks.. Can't wait to learn how to use them properly. I don't have many sets to compare too But I think I found a brand I really like in Prismacolor Premiers.

Scholar pencils are the first pencils I ever had that were Not a cheap or children's brand of pencils. Will never forget how impressed I was about how different they are compared to a crayola pencil set. I'm not even sure how I ended up buying them or why, because from having only owned crayolas or crappy dollar store color pencils I was under the impression that 'ALL' color pencils were basically the same difficult to color with and that you had to kill your arm to make them work. But I was wrong. I am so, SO happy that I tried the Scholar pencils. Because they got me into coloring with even better pencils

Thanks so much for this review. I have 75 Primacolor Premier and I do not undestand why they do not do the other part, to complete them all. I have just gone to Amazon and here in Spain amd it cost 199,13 Euros the 150 pack, which I dare say it is really valuable !
Awesome video. Great info. My son bought me a small set of prisma premier pencils and I have been adding to it one at time but far from a full set. Love them. My granddaughter is also a fan so I got her a small set also.
Thank you for talking about off-center leads in Prismacolor Premier pencils on previous videos. I got my first off-center lead yesterday, and knew, from your video, how to sharpen the pencil and get a beautiful tip. The pencil was in Prismacolor Techniques, Nature, Lesson 1. Oh I’m so glad I’ve found your channel I’ve been watching your tutorials back to back and I’ve learnt so much. My colouring was very ordinary before but after watching your tutorials and some practise, it’s so much better. Thank goodness for Jennifer’s Rule of blending thirds, it’s made such a difference!! I also didn’t realize that I’d been sharpening my pencils wrong for years, but now that I know how to do it properly,I get a much sharper tip and far less breakage! After watching this particular tutorial I ordered the Prismacolour Scholar pencils as well as the blending pencils from Amazon and I can’t wait for them to arrive. Thank you SO much for sharing your knowledge and tips, it’s much appreciated. 😊💐
I love Prismacolor! I use the Premier and the Col-erase. And do also love the colorless blender. Also the very best sharpener I've found is a weird sharpener called Muji Manual sharpener! Thank you for this video and what an awesome giveaway!

Prismacolor Scholars are awesome. Yes they are more durable but still creamy. I have not had ANY issues with sharpening them. No breakage at all! Great for beginning colorists.
The Scholars are my favorite student pencils. I buy my black, white and blenders by the dozens. You and Steve are fantastic with your excitement in the giveaways. The scholars are my absolute favourite pencil to colour with in colouring books. My number one, but closely followed by the Laurentien. Not my favourite pencil over all but it’s the set I grab to relax.
@@gabinat I almost have a fully collected set that I use sparingly and then I have a I’m allowed to use these extras set. I loved the Venus Canada ones, most of my “useable” ones are the use made ones and they are just different.
Very interesting. I see the different ones in the store and on Amazon and wonder the difference between them. you two do such a nice job explaining things. I like the Prismacolor premier and blender and think I might try the Verithins. I am a substitute teacher and color with the kids when they have inside recess. They really enjoy it. i may get some Scholars for them. The giveaway is really nice of you two.

PS I would love sketching with the Col-erase pencils and for that I would not want them to be vibrant..A nice change from a grey scale sketch but still not too intense on the color.. that is smart. I think that's a great product. And of course, I do love the regular premiers for the actual coloring of the artwork.

I've seen people use the Col-erase as a sketch pencil for when they do a piece with alcohol markers since they don't muddy up the ink like a regular graphite pencil would
