Nice selection here, it's surprising how much range there is in just these ten polishes! I don't have any of these, but if I did, I'd probably go for High Tide or The Sea Between Us. I do love aqua/turquoise/teal colors so much, but based on my choices here, my preference is clearly for the bright blue leaning aquas! Fun to discover that! 💙💚💙 Hope you keep finding more color/formula polishes to compare and scrutinize, this is fun

@@KelliMarissa it’s by a brand called Swamp Gloss, the polish is Jetskis Are Awesome! It goes from a teal blue to a purpleish blue, and it has flakies as well as matte white hex glitters! Very fun and unique!! 😊

Love this! I do own Mooncat The Sea Between Us and I love it! With fall coming I would LOVE to see a comparison of plum polishes! (My gateway to polish was Color Street and my fave was New York Minute. I have been in a quest to find a polish that is similar. My closest to date is Mooncat Freshly Bitten. I also own Holo Taco Plumb Luck, but it has a totally different feel.)

It's funny because before I saw them side by side I really thought they were all so blue! But now I can see all these greens and teals coming through haha!

I love Cuticula's polishes so much, so I'm glad you included Cursed Forest!! They also have a more royal blue flaky called Majestic Waters that would have fit into this list as well, and Kraken's Wrath has a blue-teal base and green flakys and looks a lot like Mooncat's Maelstrom!
I have several of these and love them all, however: the best blue flakie polish is Emily De Molly's Allure of Fate! I am OBSESSED with that polish it is perfection!

(And, to think, I almost didn't watch this because I'm on a No Buy till Black Friday! Here's hoping my faves are still available then...) For this batch my picks are: KBS Swim Pickings; either mooncat Maelstrom or Cuticula Cursed Forest [too similar for my budget to have both]; KBS Isle Be There; and Rogue Ocean Water. Fun fact choice: girl, I can barely go a DAY without chocolate, much less a YEAR -- YIKES!!
What a wonderful comparison video, jellies with flakes are my favourite finish! I have been eyeing Isle Be There ever since it came out, but I already own Oceans Away from Cadillacquer, and the vibes seem too similar to justify the purchase. I do think I'll have to get Swim Pickings though, it's so vibrant!

I love your huge variaty in brands that you always incorporate in those kinds of videos. I am from Germany and some brands are easiert to get a hand on here than others. I love a blue flakie and I am excited for the simply chaotic one, I just got my box in the mail but started with "funny feeling". I love how reactive it is. Greetings from Germany! 💅
Oh my gosh! I’m literally wearing a blue jelly flakie polish right now! Don’t know if you can get Prism Polish outside the UK but their shade “Dreams didn’t make us Kings” is a gorgeous royal blue jelly that gets so much deeper with multiple coats. It has a blue/silver/pink iridescent flake in it and it’s one of my absolute favourites right now! ❤ I used it for a butterfly wing nail art look this time by doing blue to silver glitter ombré and it’s getting a lot of compliments specifically on the deep sparkly blue!
My first weakness is magnetics, my second is blue flakies 😅 My faves are Never Tide Down, Cuticula’s Kraken’s Wrath (which is a lot like Mooncat’s Maelstrom) and I just got Simply Chaotic. It’s a bit too hot and my nails are too short rn to fully enjoy it, but hopefully some cooler weather will be here soon!
I have a bunch of jelly + flakes from Different Dimension. I’m actually wearing Stars Are Aligned, a cobalt blue jelly with iridescent flakes. Flakes are definitely one of my favorite finishes, along with shimmers and glass flecks.
Hi Kelli, loving your work as always. These are all beautiful. Swim Pickings, The Crab and Maelstrom are my stand outs. I need a good dupe for Butter London's Henley Regatta and I definitely think you are the girl to find it for me. I don't own as many polishes as you (approx 200) but it is my absolute favourite of them all and they don't make it anymore. I'm down to my last half bottle. 😢
I'm really loving these comparison videos - please keep making them! I wonder how close Swim Pickings is to Sol Blue (both by KBShimmer)...Sol Blue has that little holo glitter running throughout but they look nearly identical online.

i’m wearing a blue flakie right now - Emily de Molly Begin At The End. also can recommend Allure Of Fate, Downhill Slope, and her flakie formula in general. i don’t have any of these, but love Rogue, Cadillacquer and Cuticula for flakies.
Cuticula has a couple of newer ones including Kraken, which is a near dupe of Maelstrom, and Majestic Waters that could go near Swim Pickings and next to High Tide. I have one from Polished For Days called Under The Sea that’s a true blue base with blue flakies. I tried it and Isle be There with Maelstrom and The Sea Between Us. I was going for a skittle. I put some Cursed Forest over the Polished For Days to give it a little green. In the end I had three polishes that could go green and three that could go blue but not a great five in a row.
Honestly I keep looking out for that Swim Picking one in the UK - I missed my chance on one stockist and all I can do is hope they restock 😢It's such a pretty polish
I have recently discovered (since getting the Holo Taco Mixed Emotions set) that I'm totally into flakies. I'm currently wearing and loving Simply Chaotic. That Cuticula one is beautiful! Fun fact answer: I can easily go without chocolate but not coffee. I get really bad headaches when I don't have my daily caffeine intake.
Hmm I don't have any in my collection currently but I'll look around! You could always do a regular mani with a gel top coat (just make sure the base color FULLY dries before using the gel top coat!)
I'm still liking the KB Shimmer the most because it's a true blue. I'm so glad they don't do limited edition so there's no FOMO. The Crab and Maelstrom are also very pretty. I'm currently wearing L.A.Colors Razzle Berry, which is a blue jelly with iridescent glitter. But I'm not loving it. My bottle leans teal instead of the blue I've seen in all the swatches.
I own a few of these polishes & I think from all the swatches you showed; they are all different in terms of color opacity, flakies, & vibes. I don't own it, but my favorite swatch was that of Cuticula in #Cursed Forest. Its color tone with the flakies is very vibrant, shows depth & just thematically fun like forest meets the sea. It looks like it would make a great mani / pedi, or accent nail in a skittle mani.
I just bought Ocean Water at PBE last weekend 🤣 I would love to see a comparison of neon greens if you have enough... I've been searching for the perfect blue toned neon green. Definitely not teal - but not a yellowy green either
