Smaller screen size so developers will code to best on larger display. Smaller screen limit favors mobile, not desktop options where you have access to more features.

In addition to the the cheapest and most expensive Samsung. Perhaps compare a IPHONE SE with a Samsung as well as other androids of similar price as the SE. See if iPhone gives more or less value in that price range.

@@Eccentech according to the iPhone superfans, if the iPhone excels in one area no matter how minor over an Android of the same price range, that would mean that the iPhone is a much better value to them. 😅

If these Chinese rugged phones (doogee, Ulefone, Oukitel, Unihertz, etc) , offered any updates other than bug fixes, they would give apple, Samsung, google, and other notable Androids a run for their money with features such as ip68 and ip69k dust and water protection as well as MIL G, and MIL H rugged standards, in common features such as night vision, thermal imaging, big batteries, rear screens, 256G storage, dual SIM, ultra loudspeakers (even if it's not stereo), reverse charging, etc. Many are even 90 or 120hz and come with fairly large displays. But the fact that the wireless carriers in the US don't carry them, along with the lack of updates make them a non-starter for most people. But it doesn't matter to me a whole lot. I like those gimmicky features Such as being able to take pictures and videos in total darkness and being able to show people how hot their breath is 😂. I gave one of my old ones to a guy at my church who buys cheap phones and breaks them within a month. He loves the phone I gave him because he has dropped it and it survives. And he does not have to charge it everyday if he doesn't want to. Only they would update them

@Eccentech It's dumb that Samsung hasn't added that as a feature already. They gotta be cooking up something 'better', otherwise, why they wasting time?
