Very happy with the video. I do get the comments about it being biased, but as an Esri used, it is very helpful and informative when trying to switch to QGis.
I am glad you think it was helpful. I do state in the video I am primarily an Esri user. I try to make sure those watching it are aware of that which does introduce some bias I am sure.
Do you know if ArcGIS can read labels, including the label location and label formatting, in geopackages created in QGIS? Can ArcGIS read the colors of lines and polygons in geopackages created in QGIS? Thank you for this discussion of the two!
That is true. The personal license also includes most all the extensions for ArcGIS (both Desktop and Pro) and an ArcGIS Online Subscription with 100 credits. However it is limited on how you are allowed to use those licenses. You are not allowed to use a personal license for any work you are paid for. You can use it for your personal education or volunteer work.
To open DWG you need to import. This feature is available since 2.18 See last doc docs.qgis.org/3.10/en/docs/user_manual/managing_data_source/opening_data.html?highlight=dwg#importing-a-dxf-or-dwg-file
