So what is different between ethernet and data highway?

Great topic! I enjoyed the discussion and comparison. I routinely use Modbus/TCP for VFD control, but would rather use Ethernet/IP, having used it on a few other brands. Is Ethernet/IP IO going to be fully implemented in future releases? I understand the Horner product currently is only able to be a server, not a master.

Hi Gene, We definitely want to add Ethernet/IP Scanner capabilities in the future, but it's probably not going to happen this year. We'll keep you up to date if that changes.
