I personally think that hand washing laundry is a difficult task but someone has to do it. It is nice to see families helping each other with the laundry I personally do everything myself. Even though I have a washing machine and a dryer I do hand wash many of my items and hang dry them out side even in the winter time as long as it does not rain or snow. Never use fabric softener or fabric sheets they break your washing machine and your dryer and have dangerous chemicals that are not good for you. You can use white vinegar to soften your clothes with a few drops of lavender pure essential oil. And a wooly ball with a few drops of your favorite essential oil in the dryer. I prefer liquid name brand detergent two tablespoons is all you need . Washing machines and dryers are always breaking down so it is better to know how to hand wash and dry outside. You can always disinfect your washing machine with some vinegar and some original pine - sol that's the same thing that you use to clean your floors add sime baken soda helps too. Do this when you place your washing machine every 3 months in a clean cycle. It kills bacteria as well as mold and keeps your clothes smelling fresh.

honestly washing machines are better than hand washing because hand washing takes a while because you have to use your hands but washing machines do it automatically so thats why washing machines are better
