LeBron lost in the Olympics. 🤷‍♂️
@juvelcontreras
@juvelcontreras 4 года назад
@Pierre Corley He lost. That is the point. Not his team? If you say you are the GOAT, then all teams that you are in should be YOUR TEAM. He had Wade, Iverson, Duncan, Anthony, Amare, etc. That is a very good team. Dont make the excuse that it is not his team. Jordan was never part of a team that he wasnt the Alpha. Even in his first year in UNC, he was asserting himself and challenging Worthy for the Alpha position and Worthy admits to it that MJ was better than him after 2 weeks of his MJ's freshman year. Dont make excuses for LeBron.
@juvelcontreras
@juvelcontreras 4 года назад
@Pierre Corley You dont get it. Okay, let me educate you. Point by point: * You dont hear ppl bringing up the L in the Olympics when they talk abt AI or TD because ppl dont hype them and be foolish idiots of saying LBJ is the GOAT v MJ. Ppl insist that LBJ is better than MJ, so the Ls in int'l competition are brought up. And it counts. Because if you are the GOAT, you dont lose to intl players when you have NBA stars in your team. * Just to indulge your point, LBJ was on his 2nd year when they lost in the 2004 Olympics. Not once but 3 TIMES! But then, they lost again in the FIBA World with him on 2006. He had 4 years in NBA. Any more excuses? * Hate? Maybe some, but not here. I admire and recognized LBJ's greatness, top 10 GOAT definitely. Im just airing my argument that he is not the GOAT. Definitely not better than MJ. * Elite? NBA Elite? What are you talking about? Theories? Huh? You play great, you make sure you are the best in your era at least, and you win championships while being the Alpha in your team. You dont choke in high- leverage moments. That's what makes a great NBA player. * Wow. 6 out 12. He needs 3 more. If you can bet money on this, I would like to bet you. LBJ's resume is impressive as it is right now. But I just like to educate dreamers that say LBJ is the GOAT.

It’s unfair to compare because there is no contest. Jordan’s PER, scoring titles, Finals MVPs, and Clutch moments separate him from everyone. Lebron is on Mt. Rushmore no doubt and I personally think he’s a clear #2, especially because of his longevity. But MJ had “it” in spades. Never disappointed. Never ever once quit on his teammates.
@MrOunce3
@MrOunce3 4 года назад
Its not really even fair to put Lebron on rushmore. He took the easy route, played longer got better physical tools and still accomplished the same or less than a lot of old greats and even players right now. Not better than Magic, Kareem, Kobe, Duncan, Shaq Hakeem, Bird, Isiah, Russell, Wilt, Curry or Kawhi is my estimation.
@user-hb9ig4fx9p
@user-hb9ig4fx9p 4 года назад
Todd Michaelsen....never quit? Oh yeah, MJ wanted to play baseball during the prime of his career. It’s not as if he was like Bo Jackson or Deon Sanders who legitimately played 2 sports in college and were eligible AND talented enough to play baseball and football at the professional level. How come nobody mentions that? I think this is a huge blemish in MJ”s career. I think it was selfish. Talk about load management. 2 years of f playing baseball to live out a childhood dream. Lebron is still in the league and led his teams to the playoffs and finals. Win some-lose some...but at least he is still in the fight, defying all odds. MJ would get blasted if he had half the criticism of social media and sports commentators with their own shows.

Prime Jordan was getting destroyed down low by an old Magic Johnson in 1991. 1987 Magic would own Jordan. In fact, Magic challenged Jordan to a one on one pay per view winner take all event in Las Vegas and Jordan turned it down saying he wanted to get out of the image of being known as a one on one player. He couldn't stay in front of Allen Iverson or Mahmood Abdul Rauf, though he was old by then. Ahmad, stop snowballing. EVERYTHING is a competition to Jordan. And, saying you can't compare the eras is just his way of saying "I don't want to answer that question." It's like every time they ask Motana if Brady is the GOAT - Montana fakes humility. His wife and friends know he thinks he was the greatest and he would beat Brady if he had the chance. Jordan is giving a political answer.

Mo Betta Paul George is a better version of Reggie Miller and I doubt he ever makes the HOF. Vlade Divac is one of the 9 HOFers MJ played in the finals, Vlade freakin Divac is “HOF”. @@johnkestner exactly. Interesting you bring up Reggie Miller. In Jordan's prime, he and Clyde Drexler we're MJ's most competition at that same position...now compare them to who were LeBron's most competition at that position throughout his career (T-Mac and Vince early on, and presently Kawhi and KD...and that doesn't include Joe Johnson, Granger, Melo, Artest, Luca, Richard Jefferson, and Shawn Marion many others we can name). Then there was also no Arrest, Ariza, Tayshunn Prince or Iguodala quality defenders in the league that MJ had to deal with. Even the center position MJ had Olajuwon, Ewing, David Robinson, Shaq, Dikembe, and Mourning.... LeBron's had to contend with the Unicorn, AD, Dwight Howard, Pau and Marc Gasol, The Joker, Embiid, Karl Anthony-Towns, Antetekumpo, Horford, and A'mare. Not to split hairs but the 90s centers weren't a threat offensively or defensively beyond 12-15ft from the basket. MJ never had to deal with a 7ft prime Dirk. MJ fans don't wanna acknowledge that if you remove the emotional nostalgia, MJ can't be the GOAT when LeBron's unquestionably dominated a more all around talented and competuve NBA than MJ did in his peim.

They're taking from billions of people now and it wasn't even a couple hundred million back when Jordan was there. There's literally ten times more men playing basketball today so if the overall talent level is so much better and it's not even a comparison either. can you imagine if you took 35% of the league out of the NBA today and replace them with much worse players, how dominant James would be?

All he has is EXCUSES he is not the real goat not even close should not ever be mentioned in the same breath as mj. He has a blueprint on how to beat him even after he's won the title. You can't compare because who did Jordan beat in the finals? His hardest comp was a mailman and a team full of non athletic white guys. His 1st ring he beat a laker team without Magic and thier leading scorer James worthy. Then he beat a portland team that had just Clyde he beat barkly / Phoenix. Now if he didn't retire for baseball his bulls team would of got worked by that Houston team that won back to back with Clyde and Hakeem in the mid 90's. Lebron played against harder competition. Jordan didn't win anything tell after Magic got aids and larry bird got a bad back and the bad boy piston got old. Then he won and dominated the nba during its weakest time. He never played a team that 3 or 4 allstars in their prime like Lebron has. Joelrdan is great but stop acting luke he won a ring every year yes Lebron lost 6 finals but Jordan been knock out of tge playoffsin tge early round then Lebron plus Lebron lost a couple finals when he was still in his early 20's. Who cares if he lost 6 finals he the fact that he made it to straight is amazing. If jordan bulls teams played the same team as lebron in his 9 finals do you think Jordan would be 9 and 0? He probably be 4-5 or 3-6 like Lebron. The nba was so weak in the early 90's and it is so stacked and deep right now. We got a guy who average a triple double for 3 straight years and nobody thinks he a top 5 player right now that crazy how deep the league is.

itsKev81 Michael Jordan has: •3 more rings •3 more final mvps •1 more DPOY •1 more season MVP •9 more scoring titles •3 more steals leader •3 more all defensive team selections •Beat 20 50+ win teams in the playoffs (Lebron only defeated 10) •Jordan never averaged less than 40% Field Goal in the finals Lebron did it twice •6/6 (never allowed a game 7)•Lebron had much more help •Jordan never had a teammate averaged more than 22 points in the finals..Kyrie averaged over 28 and DWade averaged more than 26 •MJ never ever had a finals meltdown like Lebron in 2011 against the Mavs •MJ had more points in the playoffs in less games..All of this accomplished in 13 seasons. •Michael Jordan in the playoffs has put up atleast 40ppg, 5rpg, 5apg in 6 different playoff series. Along with an average of about 55% shooting, 3spg and 2bpg. (86 vs bos, 89 vs cavs, 90 vs philly, 92 vs Miami, 93 vs Phoenix, 88 vs cavs) Jordan won every one of those matchups except for the 1986 matchup vs the celtics. •Jordan in 88-89 averaged 32ppg, 8apg, 8rpg, 3spg off 54% shooting. LeBron has never even came close to this stat line. •in 87 thru 92, MJ averaged 5 straight seasons of atleast 51% FG shooting. LeBron has never done this. •the lowest FT% MJ ever shot in a season was 78%. Lebrons highest in a season ever is 78%. •MJ has a higher playoff FG% of 48.7% to Lebrons 48.3% •MJ has a higher playoff player efficiency rating of 28.6 to Lebrons 27.3. •MJ shoots a higher playoff 3 point percentage of 33.2% to Lebrons 32.9% •MJ also shocked the league by being the first (and only) player to have 100 blocks and 200 steals in the same season, then turned around and did it again the next year.. Seriously this list can keep going. This isn't even a debate. Mj is the GOAT. Michael in only ELEVEN complete seasons with the Bulls: -10 STRAIGHT scoring titles, -Won Defensive Player of the Year, -9 times all defensive team, -9time All NBA, -5 league MVPs-6 finals MVPs LBJ missed the playoffs completely in his first 2 years. Jordan played 82 games 9 times in his career once at 40. LBJ only played 82 games once. In 89 Jordan won the scoring title all star MVP regular season MVP and Defensive Player of The year..something LBJ has never done. Jordan also averaged 41 pts a game for an entire Finals shootimg 50% and won. Something else LBJ never did.All 11 seasons. Mj has done in 11 seasons things Lebron hasn’t done and won’t do in his whole career...
