My issue is Fossil started using PU leather on their trim. I am not paying for that even with their lower prices than some brands. I will, however, source their older bags that are all leather!

You chose some really beautiful Fossil products. My Sydney satchel is broken in. It’s nice and soft, but still isn’t too slouchy. I love it! I looked up the Ainsley crossbody. It’s super cute!! Hi Dawn, Beautiful handbag collection and thanks for the great review and comparisons. I'm looking to add a new black bag for this fall/winter but haven't decided on anything yet. You were lucky to have nice weather on Saturday for apple picking and cider doughnuts. Thunderstorms here on Friday & Saturday evening and again this evening and tonight they are wild. i bought the Sydney a few months ago (didn't come with a lock), probably in the summer so i can wear for winter and i also bought it because of the planner community 🤦🏾‍♀😂. Watching this video is reminding me that i have it and that i need to wear it 💙 That Carlie is so cute and i would love a WIMB video!

Wow. Just today I was looking at the D&B florentine satchel I inherited from my daughter Elizabeth. It needs to be cleaned and I thought that I’d ask you on your very next video if I should use The Apple cleaner or just the Oil you recommended for these bags. I bought 2 of these bags and gave one to my daughter. I never used mine. And now I would rather use Elizabeth’s for its memories. All the bags in this video are so good looking. Thanks for your review, I love your bag reviews. 💞

Hi Priscilla! That’s so sweet that you’d rather carry Elizabeth’s bag. I’m like that too with my daughter’s bag. I’d start by trying to buff out any scratches with your finger. I like to use Otter Wax leather oil on my Florentine leather. Use a white microfiber cloth so there’s no dye that can transfer on your bag. Your bag will look darker initially from the oil, but once it dries it will have a beautiful shine! If you don’t want to use an oil try the Apple brand leather cleaner & conditioner. You can find it on Amazon. I hope this helps!!

Hi Dawn, TFS! Have tried loving the Sydney & Fiona satchels, sold three in total…for me just bit too boxy and stuck out too wide at my side sadly. Looking at a preloved vintage Fossil Maddox satchel. Fossil bags are so lovely, enjoy them. Found a Coach mini Bennett and liking that size more 💛🇳🇿 PS: AND also did have a D&B large Florentine satchel in natural but way too heavy/bulky for me 😢 gorgeous bags too

I have a very old Fossil tote in a gray. I love it and that bag has been a workhorse. However, have you found that the leather quality has changed over the years? Every time I see a Fossil I have a look see and you are right, the newer ones really are lightweight. If. You had to pick just one, what would it be? I love the cognac color and could use a new bag for the autumn. I hope. You enjoy that great weather. I think it was just a week ago, my daughter, who lives in Chicago, was dying due to the heat. It’s amazing how the weather shifts!!! I hope you have a great week ahead. I always look forward to your reviews. Off topic, those earrings are gorgeous and just the right size. Hi Cindy! The weather did go from super hot to autumn like weather very quickly. I’m enjoying the reprieve from the heat. If I could pick just one it would be the Carlie in black or cognac. The leather does feel thinner. I think it’s because Fossil has a trademark on their leather now. I read it’s more sustainable. I like that it doesn’t scuff so you can be tougher on your bag. I let my fossil bags sit on the floor of the car or under the seat on a plane, and it’s opening is so wide it’s very easy for travel. I don’t use my Florentine bags in those situations, so they make a nice addition to my collection. My earrings are from Kendra Scott. I purchased them from Nordstrom during the sale. I’ve always admired her earrings, but never owned a pair. Thank you for commenting. It means a lot to me!!🥰

Awesome review on all of your fossils! I just bought a Rachel. My question is do you ever worry about your fossils getting wet ? I live in Seattle area and I'm worried about using it in the rain.

I’ve had some drizzle on my Fossil bag and it didn’t stain it. I’ve never been caught in a storm though. I’d recommend treating it with a water repellent product for leather just to be safe. Enjoy your Rachel bag!!!

My favorite handbag video of all time is the one you did in your car on the DB Florentine satchel ,you showed what was in your bag. It seemed like a cool cozy day. I loved it. How you organized your bag as you went along showing what was inside, it was just a fun video,I now carry little bags to keep my stuff in place.I loved your LV wallet and almost thought I needed one! I still think I need one. I need to stop buying myself gifts though,lol. But yeah it was so enjoyable & Just thinking about it brings a smile to my heart. I do love DB Florentine bags. Ty

Hi Kim!!! Thank you for letting me know how much you enjoyed that video! I’ve been carrying my black Florentine satchel in the mini size. I believe it’s one size smaller than the regular Florentine satchel. Maybe I’ll do another “what’s in my bag” with that bag. It’s still a good size bag but is lighter & holds a little less.
