I see your channel is growing. I hope you blow up among the audience who loves these dogs and the history. I’ve never bred dogs always owned, I myself am an artist that likes to do things right, whether it’s working on my car or house. I’m starting to understand how much time and money goes into these dogs just to do the right breedings and testing courage and determination in hunts or sporting events, also understanding some behaviors that you can’t really get away from because it comes with the dogs. Meaning the unstable ones.
I appreciate the sentiment, your kind words and support. All true what you said. It takes dedication time money and a love for the dogs to stay long term. Salute to you 🙏
Richard, to prove your point about "genetics", we all stumble through life hoping to do the right thing and as an example we have a matrix, Cates' Bolita would "snort" when you would pet her, Cates' Miss Kitty would "snort" when you pet her, Cates' Sasha would "snort" when you pet her, when I sold Chinarose as part of the deal I got WSK's Ripley, why did I demand to get her in the deal? because Ripley would "snort" when you pet her, just an FYI, Ripley got lose once and she wrecked CH Sadie, and while Ed was not happy about the chain accident, he was happy with what she did to CH Sadie, right now I have now idea whatever happened to Ripley, Ed asked me if he could have her after I explained her "genetics" and that's about it on her, the power of the "snort"...
I had a daughter of Townsends Ch. Red Rover that would snort when she was petted. Her name was Sadie. I also had a double bred Cujo daughter that snorted. Those were the only ones of my Nigerino dogs to do it.
I had a 1x winner OTC out of Ch. Game Jame . Her name was lady G. In the Virgin Islands St. Croix. A full sister to Grand Ch. TOM GIRL . I also helped train Gr.Ch. Tom girl for 3 a d 4th win. Facts .
Rich, your integrity is respected! I viewed a dog that was supposed to be RBJ, he was ticked with a tan mask... I haven't had every line, but I owned that line since the 80's..Not once did we get a white or ticked dog in our litters.. This dog was coming off the Thug blood bred back to AAA blood...smh.. I agree with you, the breeder should just tell the truth. for the young ones coming up.. The lies can destroy a person program...
Truth n facts break it down for them common sense stuff a need to know basis tht should be enuff tell them srtght out respect n honesty this wht counts!!! To each his own be honest bout wht u have be honest don't lie about how dogs are bred it only follows you!!! The u sir!! Lay it to them right thnks this man is a true teacher keep giong
I ve seen a bunch of red dogs come from Mr Floyd’s yard. So he definitely got rid of some red pups. Lots of instances where he sold red puppies and kept black littermates. Seems to me he liked the black ones because his yard was always full of black dogs. He had a gyp called Easy who was red with a red nose coming from a line of black dogs. Genetics are fun. Respect from Louisiana
I would guess it's from Honeybunch's bottom side as many of the Ed Crenshaw dogs had those color patters and I had it in some of my Honeybunch bred dogs as well.
I did DNA testing on two dogs I got from one of the supposedly top breeders in the game. Only to find out two dogs I got from him which were on paper and pedigree totally different lines - turned out to be brother and sister by DNA. The dogs ended up to be substandard. I called him out on it. And he told me to never call him again. There are and always will be unscrupulous dog men. We live in the world of the internet dog men and puppy peddlers. Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware) I am more of a doubting Thomas if I do not see it. I do not believe it. In today's age people can say anything they want! In the 70's you use to see the parents in action.
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 The truth will set you free, but everyone is going to hate you for showing them the DNA results. I am sure "TG" never ever wants to talk or see me again as long as he lives. All that frozen semen and Hocus Pocus pedigrees go away once the DNA test is done. Presto Abracadabra you get a "Frisco" dog. Why not sell your dogs for what they are instead of using Cottingham's pedigrees to wrap them up into something they are not? In the end people will figure out what they are or are not. It is all false advertising and marketing in the end.
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 Unfortunately, we are entering a period were no one is going to want a Bulldog. Most of the dog men I know have left. The baggage that goes with these dogs is just not worth it any more. The good dog men I know have all decided to exit. The part that really sickens me is all the man biters out there. I tried to get my kids interested in the dogs and they want nothing to do with them. My brother just told me his neighbor bought a pitbull and had to get rid of it because it went after his own kids. No one will ever want to fed a dog they can not trust around their own children. In my own experience Bullyson, Zebo, and some of the White dogs are notorious man biters, but that never stopped the dog men from breeding to them. Forget the pedigrees it has become all about the money. Your love/hate relationship with the Bullyson dogs is well deserved. In my time all man biters were eradicated without question no matter what they brought to the table. If you allow man biters in your line you should never sell or give a dog to the general public especially if it would go to a family.
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. ' Albert Einstein. The technology is here and people are not going to be happy when they figure out what they bought was misrepresented. Shysters are destroying the game.
Mr Garcia it’s a privilege to have a dog man like you reply to my question! Omg! I listen to everything you put out I’m from MS and I have seen some good ones not like you, by any means. I thought jocko was a 43 lbs dog
@user-xw2iu3gq9d I appreciate your kind words and support. MS has a rich history with the breed. Jocko went from 45-48 1/2 I believe. I think his brother Argo was a 43.
Why werent X's winners goin up against same X's winners?... I mean a 2xW next match should be against another 2xW , right? And so forth.. Record VS Record..... But I'm sure they weren't all matched like that...... So my question is, Who holds the best RECORD of interest of what I mentioned above??? Cuz winning against another who doesn't hold the same record ( often LESS wins or even newbs) to me, I can not give the dog real credit. Like a Pro VS Amateur😂😂😂....
There's alot of reasons why that didn't happen and it's mostly because a weight was put out and taken up and you don't know which dog you were going against meaning a first time up dog could be going into a Ch and that happened alot. Sometimes the first time up won.
@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 just saying, a 3x, 2x or 4x winner up against a non- winner record match doesn't impress me when their title is mentioned.... I'd Def chase a Producer VS a Many xW's .... I guess that's why they have ROM dogs...
@mryang3644 I understand it looks and sounds impressive to have winners and titled dogs go into each other but I've seen many matches and been involved with the types I mentioned and an upset like a first time up or 1xw or 2xw beat Ch and Gr Ch is more impressive to me. To each their own.
