Series 1 of the Bratz animated show was the peak of Bratz voice acting. They had an all-star cast and it really showed, even through secondary characters like Burdine, the tweevils and the boys.
I legit started crying when I heard that Yasmin’s season one voice actress was legally blind because I’m also legally blind. I don’t think I’d be able to read a script in Braille because honestly, I read Braille at like 20 words a minute, so I think if I do ever go into voiceover work (which I absolutely plan to do) I’m just going to have a computer read the scripts to me. The fact that one of my absolute favorite characters as a child was voiced by someone like me makes me just so frickin happy!
It's so strange because I had the doll that went with this movie, and she was the normal dark skinned Sasha, so when I watched the movie, I was baffled
Olivia's voice for Chloe is iconic! And in fact nr 1. When I watched the series I was mesmerized by her voice haha it gave this cool attitude to Chloe hahah and her drama voice was also iconic. PS. I love their moving hair.
My Absolute Favorites Are Olivia Hack, Soleil Moon Frye, Tia Mowry And Dionne Quan! Let's Just Say That Every Single Voice From The PS2 Games, Every. Single. Voice. From Bratz Rock Angelz, Bratz Forever Diamondz And Bratz The Movie, Will Forever Be Considered The Canon Voices To Me, They All Sound Like They Were MADE For Those Roles 💙💗🧡💛

Also we need to acknowledge how iconic Burdine’s va is. When I rewatched Fillmore some years back I realized she was the principal of the show’s school and I still get a kick that she’s Eda in The Owl House, though I will admit it’s also her best role as she’s been able to do wonders with her voice in how she expresses Eda’s emotions. She really needs more va work.
Wendie Malick is awesome! When I first heard Beatrice’s voice in Bojack Horseman, I immediately recognized Burdine, lmao. She really does a wonderful job portraying a more tragically sinister character like her, too.
Very much enjoyed this video! I’m biased and loved the season 1 VAs the most but I really enjoyed jade’s web series voice and Sasha’s Starrin n Stylin VA also
I think I like Yasmin’s blond voice actress better other the first movie one. She has Yasmin give out sarcasm and to me, I like that, since it feels like she’s more opinionated than the others, at least with them. Like a moral compass.
The fact that she IS also Kimi from Rugrats/All Grown Up makes me wonder, why didn’t Dionne just voice Baby Yasmin, as she can do a baby voice Although I guess it wouldn’t fit the whole sassy Bratz attitude vibe, but still
You know what Jillian Simpson did a good job for playing jade she is so much funny, and Janice always did also a good job too for playing Yasmine because she is so sweet
But in all fairness, its just voice acting. Utilising their vocal performance and range for the character only. Ashley wasn't the physical performance therefore it cannot be counted as blackface.

I absolutely loved bratz and I did love Tia Mowry's voice as Sasha and as for Yasmin's voice actress from the original cause it was so good and my opinion for Talking bratz they really messed up Yasmin and Sasha's voices 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
come on, Yasmin’s new voice was not even that bad. especially when she voiced G3 Lagoona. the reason why the original voice actress for Yasmin didn’t returned is because she retired from the acting industry in 2015. but i do agree though that Sasha’s voice in Talking Bratz was not that good
Unfortunately a large amount of the original promotional material and boxart depicted Sasha with a wildly different complexion. Even some of the dolls had skin tone inconsistencies in lines across the board. Not just Sasha

I prefer India over Tia. I get she isn’t has boisterous as Tia, but I think she sounds more normal than Tia’s more cartoony performances. Also, and I know it sounds obnoxious, I don’t like how I can tell it sounds like her and her sister, which takes me out of the character. Kirstee (however you spell her damn name) is as well, but I think her voice really grasps the more intelligent twin, where as Tia sounds like Tia being a character of Tia, in my opinion. Also I feel India sounds natural when speaking. I do think Sasha is the best to recast, since she doesn’t ever have the same voice. And lastly, I think visually, Logan Browning is the best actress visually for Sasha, since they have pretty much the same skin tone and eye color. I also really like her voice in the new game. I agree with Jade’s, I think they both work well, and I honestly couldn’t tell those two girls for Chole apart.
@@via3155 It’s not the same shade, but it’s like a shade or two off. Logan looks different in different lighting, but for the most part she looks very similar to Sasha. I personally think she was the best for her role.
@@adamsmoberly they literally gave sasha two black parents even in the film and still proceeded to cast a biracial actress. Logan browning is also light skinned. Sasha is not light skinned . There is a clear skin tone difference and lighting to live action movie sasha and doll/animated bratz series+movies sasha. She is not physically the best choice for her. Enough.
