Comparing The New DCU Superman Suit To The Suits That Came Before It 

Im so sorry for the poopy quality lol. I did not realize that I exported in SD instead of HD and I have no idea what happened to the audio quality once I exported as well. I am using a new software and I am out of the studio so bare with me.

The more I see of David's suit the more I like it. When he is standing the wrinkles on the upper torso will disappear. I love the colors and you can tell the torso is the same shade of blue as the legs. It's just burned in the image. I like that the texure isn't as distracting and in your face as Cavill's. Also the The size of the emblem is great and I like that the symbol isn't as obvious letter S. I just hope the cape doesn't touch the ground when standing like Cavill's.

I wish you had talked about how the Cape connects to the suit on tge shoulders, that part done wrong really throws me off

Fans are complaining for no reason. I think we need to see a picture of David Corenswet standing up in it

I came here specifically for the Henry cavil / man of steel comparison .. That’s suit is the best suit ever for Superman

Look more like a armor than a suit. I like it but need to be more spandex. Must be tough and hot as f wearing a regular suit to hide your armor suit.

(Gunn confirmed the picture of the suit is in camera and has not gone through any post): I believe the pink sphere in the picture is Solaris. Gunn is inspired by All Star Superman: I believe Solaris was one of the villains in All Star Superman. Solaris has injured Superman and have blocked the yellow sun while fighting Superman; this is wear the damage on suit came from. I see a green light striking Solaris in the picture as well. Superman may be injured and weaken from the first fight. Green Lantern and others are distracting Solaris while Superman recovers. Solaris is overcoming the other heroes and weakened, Clark Kent witnesses they need his help. They need Superman. ⭐️ In this picture, a weakened Superman is putting on his boots for round 2, he beaten and injured but he is preparing suit back up to fight Solaris, who is blocking the sun, all odds are against Clark but he is the beacon of hope; he is Superman. Now in this photo Superman is preparing to give his all to save the other heroes and the world. ⭐️ I recently rewatched All Star Superman. Solaris and Lex plays a big part; and, I believe the other in heroes are replacing the fortress of solitude robots to fight Solaris. ♦️Solaris is a Superman Character. Well in the image James release you see a green light beam striking top of Solaris. 2. Instead of the robot, this is why you need all the other heroes; they replace his robots and are an integral part of the overall story. (Gunn said this) 3. Let me say first I'm a Cavill fan Not a Snyder guy( although I did like the movies). IMO the MOS suit was Perfection. This looks like homelander from the boys. It's almost like a uniform. Maybe the movie will be ok.

If you're a real Superman fan, the only order would be: 1. Christoper Reeves 2. David Corenswet 3. Tom Welling 4. Tyler Hoechlin 5. Brandon Routh 6. Dean Cain 7. Henry Cavill

In the end, Brandon Routh started out with the worst suit and the worst movie but he ended with the best suit and one of the best Superman depictions to date.

I have a feeling that this suit was just a test suit to gauge fan reaction and that the final one will address the concerns people are noting. I'd personally love to see a comic or animation accurate version of the New 52 suit. I"m a fan of the collar

My personal favorite is the Superman returns suit. It’s the perfect blend of modern and classic. Especially when it’s used in smallville, with the yellow s on the cape and the brighter color grading so the reds pop out more.
