I found the new Draculaura variant in stores yesterday night so I decided to buy and compare the two today!

I like the variant, but I honestly prefer her normal screening, she looks more fierce in my opinion, especially when her eyebrows are visible.

i prefer the original, she’s just cuter imo. she looks more coy. the variant reminds me of g2 drac with how bright eyed she is tbh. also the original has better ruching on her skirt and socks. i would switch the variant’s shoes onto the original if i had both.

The “made in” label on the new monster high dolls is on the back of the boxes, the chunk of white text in the middle just under the interest facts. The one you unboxed is the Indonesian variant. I hope this helps for future

From what I've seen in stores, the new variant's accessories seem to have a different printing process, or something? Like the icoffin screen and cherries on the cup look clearer and less pixelated. Did not notice the darker shoes though 👀 Much better color contrast that way!

I like the first original one a lot more, she looks more delicate. But both are nice.

I was looking at mine while watching this and I had trouble figuring out which one she resembles more and then I noticed mine has overall darker eyes than the both of yours. Especially the purple is so dark it's almost black, which I personally like bc she looks more fierce with it. Also one of the other differences I heard this variant that you got has is the sleeves puffs at the top. I think the variant has bigger ones.

check on her lower back underneath her clothes it should say made in china or made in Indonesia!! i found out my drac is the Indonesian variant after having her for like a month lmao

Indeed, they are different. And how now to order dolls? If you want to buy the first option, not the second? I live far away, there are don't sell monster high dolls in our stores. I can only buy them online.

Hey just now seeing this video I see the Indonesian variant seems taller and has a different head sculpt rather than the chinese variants just had to point that out also the eyes/pupils are different too

Forgot to add I think the Indonesian variant seems more pinker than the other unless it’s your lighting.

This is interesting. It seems to me that new drac is also just a tiny bit taller, and I can personally see the difference in the skintone color u were talking about, but maybe it shows up more on camera than irl, or I'm just stupid. 😅 Also, am I the only one who needs to see a lagoona with a side eye like right now?! 🤩

I wonder if they all will get variants funny I’ve seen this variant being shared for awhile though first video on it. But nothing on any others. I’d pick her up if I found her LOVE Draculaura definitely my solid second main character favorite but I’m more interested if there’s gonna be variants on my ghoul

I boil washed mine but i forgot that i didnt had any hair cream so its just long and straight but it still looks amazing. But i will re boil wash her face whenever i have it

the plastic used to make the dolls hands and body is different and more saturated on the indonisia doll

yes!, Also I think Indonesian variant has better quality of plastic, more like solid I guess , and the hair is longer and thicker imo. Both are cute , just Indonesian has sweeter expression I think.
