We got the owlet for our baby and one night I got up to feed him and as I walked back to my bed I saw on my phone a lady touching my baby!!! It was the delay 🙈 It freaked me out and woke me up for sure lol

Hey! I have the Cübo (I actually have 2; 1 over the crib and one in the living room). Just a note: it is so smart that it actually detects a baby's face. So it would not pick up walking adults easily or stuffed animals. Also, the new analytics even detect when a caregiver visits the crib. The other features which include rollover, crying, temperature, humidity, and the nightlight are great. It even takes pictures on its own, so you will have more to add to your album. The 18 hr playback is perfect for watching, but also (for me) to find out when the last feed or change occurred. I also have a video of my son's first full rollover because I got it off the camera. Oh, and it DOES notify you if your phone screen is off. You need to enable it because it is annoying, so it's automatically off. I'm at work right now and I'm getting notifications from home where my mother in law is watching the baby. It's the best one on the market. Trust me.

We have been using the Infant Optics one for several years and love it! We added a second camera when my 2nd child was born and it is seamless. That was something we hadn’t considered when we bought our first system. Originally, we had a Motorola system and it only lasted about 2-3 years, but we had to replace the monitor once ($$) because the antenna, which was always up, broke off. Anyway, 2 thumbs up from me for the Infant Optics system, even with 2 cameras. Plus, we like the security of it not being on WiFi and not using an app. It’s small enough to carry around, as needed. I’m glad you guys liked it!

Oh, also, our original system had an integrated lullaby/white noise option, but it was kind of ridiculous. Because it played in the baby’s room, it came through the monitor, too, And then that was all we could hear. If the baby had made noises, we would not have heard them. Plus, it was too loud coming out of the monitor. It’s better to have a separate noise machine, away from the camera, if you want one.

No baby monitors in my day, we just had to check on them. I do like the idea if you have an upstairs downstairs situation though! I liked the first one best.

Cubo is great! I have it and it tells me when she rolls over and the app does not have to be open. It tweets like a bird! And I came here at work and still hear and see my baby!

We have the Infant Optics. Anyone who has purchased one recently should invest in an extra battery. After about a year it goes caput and no amount of recharging will fix it. But otherwise it’s perfect.

I don't recommend a baby monitor with a sound system built in... with both of ours that we had, we couldn't turn the sound up on the monitor because all you could hear was the sound system! With a seperate sound machine you could place it far away from the camera in the baby's room and it didn't pick up that noise as loudly. Just my experience!

We have a simple monitor (just to hear him) and a separate sound machine and I agree. If the sound machine is to close to the monitor that is all you can hear so they definitely need to be separate.

Hi!! I love watching your videos! The family I used to nanny for had the Infant Optics monitor and we all thought it was so nice especially when you need to do something on the opposite side of the house you can still hear and see the baby. They also invested in getting Ring cameras for around the house and in the baby’s room to see him while they were at work from their Iphone! I will definitely be doing the same whenever I have kids 😊

I didn't go with the Owlet because I read it emits some low level radiation into the baby which I wasn't comfortable with. I ended up buying the Miku monitor but it didn't work well so I am returning it and trying the Nanit. Hopefully I'll find one that works soon!

Does the first one have night vision or good picture in the dark? Or do you need some kind of extra lighting?

Yes it does have night vision, and it’s pretty clear, very good picture. I recommend it 100%. I have it and I love it! You don’t need anything extra, it’s perfect!

Very cool and very interesting for new parents! I do have to confess that I'm still a bit against camera systems within the house, since everything can be hacked when connected to a network... but it's the present and future!... love your videos ❤

The infant optics camera isn't connected to the internet so there is no way someone can hack into it.

I have enjoyed seeing all the new baby items that you have shared with us. It’s amazing how products have changed or have been invented since I had my first 27 years ago! Wow that makes me feel old lol!! I can’t wait to become a Grandma and wonder what some of these products I will use. I know I will be cautious of the monitors/cameras that have an app or where you need WiFi. We have the Nest for the dog (lol) and that got hacked! I literally had someone taking a picture and then a voice was coming over the speaker. I have never ripped a cord out of the wall so fast in my life!!! It was an ordeal, I’ll just leave it at that😬😳! Can’t believe you all are hitting so many milestones already with baby! Andrey had his first Fathers Day, Emorett’s first Independence Day, and he is already over a month old!! 🥰❌⭕️❤️💙😇

Have the Cubo and love it. I'm very picky on monitors. I love that it provides a larger surrounding. Plus it includes all of the different mounting pieces without you having to purchase it differently. It's all under the setting. I don't always have the app on and I get notifications for the cry detection and danger zone.

U will love it. I have been using mine for 3 years now and I still watch my toddler on it while he plays with his toys in his room. Its worth the 170 bucks for sure.

Regarding Cubo Ai - it works long distance (main reason we got it) - hubby logged in from his office at work and could use the walkie talkie function, so in theory when bub gets here he can start soothing bub from work. I have been getting alerts for humidity and temperature while the app is off - wish I knew what setting triggered it though, as I suspect that might be why the danger-zone alert isn't going off while the app is off - although I haven't troubleshooted that feature yet. Maybe allow background notifications? I think I had to turn that on that on manually when we played around with it on the first night.

I own the "Infant Optics" system and at 3 years old it still works wonderfully and I still have it pointed at my toddlers bed so that I can see if he gets out of bed in the nite and i love being able to pan around the room to keep a close eye out when he is playing in his room. Its a great monitor. 10 outta 10 I highly recommend.

Owlet is the best. once you set it up the box comes with stuff to cover up the cords so baby cant get to them. it has amazing night vision. you can see the camera from anywhere.

Infant optics camera. They have the links to the cameras they showed in the description box. Also I have that camera and really like it. I like that it doesn't hook up to the internet or you don't need to use your phone/ download an app.

We had a breathing pad angel care monitor and the baby unit bleeps once if no movement and usually baby moves and all ok. If baby doesn't move it alarms. Even across the hallway I was up and running every time it beeped. The only times it went off were if you picked baby up and didn't turn the monitor off or baby decided to wriggle away from the pad. Recommend it though very simple to use, can be used as just a 1 way monitor without the pad and has room temp displayed. Plug in or rechargeable battery if on the move

When my son was a baby, I didn't end up using any (although we got some), because I felt like I just have to keep my eyes on him 24/7 anyway LOL

I have the owlet i LOVE the sock I HATE HATE HATE the camera it freezes its constantly disconnect and i have to reset it and its annoying

So I a member of a parents group who have had a baby born with a heart condition. An many of them have used the Owllet an just always going off an freaking them out. Sock just move when the baby moves an could slide off. So made them even more anxious. Hope you find the right set up for y’all. Lots of love to your new little family! ❤️❤️❤️

Don't know if its more accurate for lil baby but the sock saying Andre's o2 level is 87% worries me... unless he has lung issues it shouldn't be below 95% as under that you need an o2 mask (for adults that it).

If you go to camera settings you can enable “continuous audio” so when your phone is asleep it will act like your every day audio-only baby monitor

I had baby sensory pads for underneath the Mattress. It worked by detecting movement and you can set how sensitive it is. Look it up. I found them to be amazing.

I used the Angelcare baby monitor and loved it. Camera that would tell you the temp of the room, O2 level of baby, could zoom in and out and look all around, and you can hear the baby. Plus it has a sensor that you put under the crib mattress and an alarm would go off if the baby would stop breathing. I love it. Still use the camera part in my son's room since he's only 3. It's crazy how far technology has come!

@@chloemoe2k7 yes! It's amazing. And also you can detach the sensory pad after the baby is older and doesn't need it and it works just fine. Only down fall is the monitor has to stay within so many feet of the signal gets weak but I didn't mind that.

My kids are 17 and 14 now, I had a monitor when my older daughter was born, never used it. They’ve come a long way, but sometimes I think there can be too much “stuff” rather than just walking in to check on the baby.

We actually bought the Cubo. I would suggest redoing this video because these baby monitors are the WORST. They are so expensive for something that doesn't work properly. I would suggest checking out the Amazon reviews. The ai doesn't work - it either gives so many false positives that you end up turning the notifications off just to get some sleep or it doesn't detect that your baby is actually face down. It always has trouble connecting to WiFi and has constant app errors. It also stops working randomly in the middle of the night and takes forever to login in to the app again or just doesn't. It was such a headache and we had to report so many issues. They even sent us a replacement, which did the EXACT same thing so we asked for a refund and were denied and offered another replacement. We have ZERO trust on this baby monitor and it has been frustrating and disappointing. BUY ANY OTHER BABY MONITOR!!

just a question...you had the phone off ? Nothing will notify you if the phone is not on. Depending on what antivirus system you have running and some of the newer smartphones you may have to go in and allow the app to access above and beyond security protocols. Just an idea to try.

I'd predicted that Andrey & Milana would expand their channel to include baby content once the little one arrived. If you don't like it don't watch the videos geared towards baby/baby items. Clearly you can see the title of the video & have a choice between watching or not. If it bothers you that bad, unsubscribe!! You obviously aren't a true supporter anyway!

@jan they recorded this before she had the baby. She is posting prerecorded and past recorded/aired videos as she takes her maternity leave if you will... She is enjoying her new baby with her husband and navigating motherhood. I appreciate that she still includes us in the arrival and growth of her little blessing! She owes no one anything and if she chooses to become a “mom RU-vidr” then so be it! I am sure she will rock it!! I love all her beauty and skincare videos and know she can carry that on to the many stages of life but life changes, however she has NOT made any reference to leaving her beauty channel behind so give them a break and let them enjoy their baby and becoming parents...we all can wait!!!!!!

Obviously she is choosing to share both on her channel now which I feel true supporters love & appreciate. I can't believe people have the nerve to question what people post of their own channel.
