Hi Sanjee, It's great to see you back, YAY! Thank you for continuing your channel! As an adult, I thought I was able to tell the difference between advice, education and entertainment. Unfortunately, the government says I'm too stupid to make my own decisions and suffer the consequences. I need to be protected from myself. Obviously. I miss your commentary, it was informative, inspiring and entertaining. I have also enjoyed the evolution of your hair, far better than a 'Kardashian-anything'. Please keep up the great work. Level-headed fans everywhere appreciate your hard work!
Iam 100% vas,vgs has too much tech for me.I think that sector is still overvalued vas is lower fee and less risk But overall your choices are pretty good long term.
Does this take into acccount the dividend yield? I am looking at your graphs Timestamp 7.04, comparing 2012-2015 at this time there was a mini-crisis in resources. I wonder if this would tell a different story now?
Thanks for your videos Sanjee, very informative. Do you do a portfolio update? Maybe the ETF that you are holding and the percentage allocation to it? It will be great to have that insight. Keeping creating great content!!
Hi Sanjee, really appreciate all the good advice you're passing on. My question is, why does Vanguard not offer an etf through the asx that invests in the s & p 500? I had to purchase ishares ivv to get in, but I would have preferred to stick with Vanguard. Any idea/s why?
@@tonytan5945 Thanks for the response Tony. I did some quick research but vts is domiciled in the US so that will mean more complications between US/AU tax systems and more paperwork to deal with overall. Why can't Vanguard just set up an etf product in competition with ivv that's domiciled in Australia?
@@DAN-fq5bm you’re right about the BEN E forms. I hold VTS from a long time ago and now hold IVV as well. BOTH are similar apart from the BEN E forms but if you really want to hold in vanguard they don’t have any other. It’s probably why VTS has such low management fees. While the BEN E is a hassle, it’s not a big one. In fact I just sent one in for this year and it’s just a carbon copy of the ones I sent in 6 years in a row. Just get your accountant to do the first one for you, the rest following is easy. And make sure you tick all the boxes. There’s a small box after signature which I often forget to tick and it gets bounced back (they are very strict).
@@DAN-fq5bm I just checked VTS is 0.03% fee vs IVV 0.04% a difference of $1 per $10k. Also VTS holds thousands more companies compared with “just” 500 by IVV. I reckon if you’re after the safety of vanguard universe it’s probably purely anecdotal as black rock is possibly larger than vanguard at moment, don’t quote me on that!
It's hard to imagine a strong future for commercial property with WFH and online shopping taking over. CBD offices are starting to become a thing of the past and traditional malls are struggling as well.
@@SanjeeSen great content with no bs, well done. Does keeping ETFs keep pace with inflation, or is your money now going backwards as inflation increases?
Hi Mr. Sanjee, why don't you give us some good knowledge about indian best stocks. Is it danger to buy indian shares. Why you are always encouraging about US shares. We are from Newsouthwales. Pls focus on indian share price too. So my family will stop pessimistic thoughts. We r orguing about which shares we could invest from our small family savings. Pls focus. What do you suggest about china stocks and price value
Congrats ! I started right before Covid when the recession hit.I held those stocks and made a killing. I bought dividend stocks and made a lot during Covid.
Sucks that ASIC is stifling the spread of general investing advice just because of a few bad apples. Hope they sort it out so you don't have to keep saying facts every 10s
Gee it's going to be hard to watch another video about "facts". Hate to say it but it's really hard to watch when you have to bite your tongue even on saying "quite good income". Not your fault clearly but there is a big imbalance when you could do videos pumping up crypto without consequence.....
Fact is that your video is not entertaining anymore and although you were trying to make a point about ASIC, it was just too much to watch and you lost me very early on the video. Try to find another way to deliver videos in future, because I enjoyed your videos in the past, but I felt you were not talking to us, you were talking to ASIC and trying to get back at them.
That was an interesting broad overview of those ETFs. I did an more in depth overview of VAS covering the risks of the fund from an American perspective on my channel.
