@@RcAHS Yeah, weirdly enough I googled to check the differences. It indeed adds a lot to the game in minor ways (aside from the aforementioned tile trimmings :D )

@@RcAHS It wasn't Konami's decision. Nintendo of America did not allow non-standard mappers, therefore if Konami wanted to release their game in US, they had no choice but to downgrade it.

@@RcAHS Not a graphics chip, a memory management chip. It's to blame Nintendo of America if Konami couldn't include it, they had a policy to allow on the NES only the use of Nintendo-produced MMCs.
