I did a lot of emergency vehicle upfitting, and from experience, whelen has the best build quality. Soundoff Nforce lightheads are the brightest, and Feniex is good for budget builds
So judging by this the mpower is the brightest at over 1000 lux however to the eye the brightest head is the whelen head the mpowers tend to fall flat on their face especially in direct sunlight compared to the other two heads the Fenix is capable but bulky the ion is more compact while the mpower is very compact a more appropriate comparison of the mpower is the ion t series since they are the same form factor
I think you’re reading the meter wrong there buddy… Feniex is 5700, Whelen is 4800 and SOS is 1738… mPower is the least bright, but, like they mentioned, it’s not a fair contest as the mPower is a linear optic.
With the luxmeter, does that mean the Feniex is nearly three times brighter than the SOS? I have feniex lights and they don't seem brighter than my department's SOS at all.
The meter states on it's screen "x10," the values that are added in over the video are the correct ones. Lux is different than lumens, not sure how lux is defined but it's not just the power output like a lumen. My guess is that it is instead more of a value that would relate to the reflectors and lenses.

Merci. Je n'ai pas de conseil à donner, tout dépendra de votre utilisation, de votre préférence pour un produit plutôt qu'un autre, du type de montage, de la place que ça doit prendre... En blanc et R65 j'imagine qu'on est sur des FDP de dépanneuse, tout ce que je peux dire c'est que des petits comme ça on peut en mette 4 en calandre de poids lourd !

LED's are only as bright as they're made and setup to output, they aren't inherently brighter because they're LED. The more important thing is how they are programmed to function, as with any non LED lights too. Usually money is a large part of the equation too, you get what you pay for. Cheap junk off Amazon with poor preset flash patterns and settings will blind you at night, although almost completely useless in day light. While a fully put together package from a good manufacturer and installer will be far brighter, but dimmer when programmed and have functional patterns to improve safety etc..
