The Camaro isn't suprising to me. The ZL1 is a track monster and for its price point is an insane deal for anyone wanting a track orientated car.

The transit van one was in a top gear episode when jeremy did under 10 minutes with a diesel jag with sabine schmitz and she said "i do that with a van" and she went around the ring with a transit with a little bit of weight reduction in over 10 minutes

They ran a full uninterrupted lap weeks after trying the ring on public track days in segments. It was done in segments because of traffic. Not because of thermals. Anybody can find this info online. Nurburgring certified their full lap run. If you don’t trust the time, you shouldn’t trust any time in this video.

Compared to the Megan, the Ford GT has never driven an official record lap. The only times I could find for the 2017 Ford GT are BtG (Bridge to Gantry) times from private drivers

But the Veyron isnt build to be fast on a track tho,Its main focus is top speed which on a circuit isnt that important

@@devandrasimanjuntak1646 Well, kinda… it wasn’t bone stock and the lap was unofficial. I looked it up and it chassis number 000055. It says the car had some chassis modifications to increase the cars rigidity and an aluminum rollcage. It also says they “tweaked the exhaust”. I couldn’t tell you what that means. So by my understanding it’s a next to stock car that unofficially did sub 8s in the 90s. That’s very impressive, personally I love the vettes but I got nothing but respect to that GTR.

@Levario Jones what? 7:56 is accurate and 7:40 was claimed by a forum member, not me and that was on 15 year newer tires and modern suspension. I already clarified I don’t know the most of the R33. I didn’t claim any time or specs about it, the website I seen did.

@Levario Jones unless you have evidence on the contrary… I think my display of evidence greatly demonstrates what each car had done and how it was done to achieve such lap times 18+ years ago. If you believe my information is poor or I don’t research then you do your own, dispute my point, and then it’d decide who is correct. At least that’s respectable

Yeah this video has a few things wrong. The GT2 RS MR actually completed the course in 6:40, not 6:38.

Above Porsche 919 evo are you sure? This LMP1 based prototype has no restrictions it did Spa francorchamps faster than the F1 2018 record, also achieved +220mph on straight. You gonna need a F1 without restrictions to go faster than that, but it would never survive all the bumps of the green hell!

Reporters have proven that nissan times is a lie. The car is not exceptional and everyone has known it for 10 years. Moreover nissan even deleted the videos because they were accelerated. It's been more than 10 years, it's crazy not to know that!

It’s a power track. Front engine have their chances

A car cannot over-perform. It can drive to its limit which is what a good driver will do. But most drivers racing on this track are professionals I don’t think they’d let just anyone race their very expensive cars

Veyron can’t corner. It is design for straightline speed. The Camaro Zl1 1LE is enginered for the track.

Bugatti cars are not made to race on a circuit. They are really slow on tracks due to weight and little downforce

McLaren not publishing it was sorta a protest against listing Nordschleife laps as a performance benchmark. The amount of rule-bending and general fuckery that goes into what constitutes a 'production car' and what constitutes a 'lap' when setting them records is quite extreme. It's marketed as what a car is capable rolling off the production line and onto the track and that's just far from truth.

Mercedes SUVs are actual handling monsters. Crazy how they make their SUVs feel much lighter than what they really are.

Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. I mean the Veyron SS has a 1/4 mile time of 9.9 Seconds and a goddamn Dodge Demon can run it in 9.5 seconds. Crazy to think about but that's about all the Demon is good at xd That and looking/sounding cool as hell

@@sillimilli3802 It is. If you paid 1$ more you get a factory drag pack. This includes a bunch of things like tyres and such from factory. Then you should get the factory weight reduction which makes it so you only have a driver seat. Then ou need to switch it to 100 Octane Fuel and switch the car into drag mode. Last but not least you have to go to a prepped Drag Strip. You have to make no modifications to the car and from factory it can run 9.5 seconds 1/4 miles. It is actually banned in the US from drag racing bevause it is under 10 seconds and doesn't have a rollcage

Porsche Is made from Porsche, The reason its so fast because its ran in the perfect condition for the tires/Has a hybrid system which convert braking energy to the ion system. Its a LMPH1Class not Le Mans

Well, Porsche's engineers said in a video that the car that broke the record is based on the lmp1 car but with some improvements that would be illegal in the lmp1 class to make it even more powerful and fast. There is an interesting documentary about this car here on RU-vid

Decent at best, they even said they could run a faster lap, if everything worked out perfectly. -the 919 was a hybrid LMP1 car, not LMHP1or whatever you wrote -what on earth is ion energy that youre talking about? Theres no such thing as ion energy or ion system in any current vehicle.
