when lee know dances he never overdance or underdance, he literally just becomes one with the music. he hits every beat precisely with power and ease and i think that's the reason why he's the main dancer in skz
I see a lot of people using the word overdancing, but I never hear the term used irl and I don't understand. This is a hype song, I don't see how putting in extra energy and effort could be a bad thing as long as it's not affecting quality of movement
Lex C I used to compete in dance competitions and we use such words with similar meaning to “overdancing”. I literally have a groupmate who dances offbeat because he was too much of a performer that he couldn’t contain his energy. We always tell him to relax and not to dance faster than the music but he couldn’t. So what we did is we always put him in the center so that way it wouldn’t look awkward that one person was dancing way faster than the music at the left/right side of our position.
it’s not that hyunjin and felix are off beat, it’s because it’s three separate videos and it was probably not easy to make all of them match one single audio. when you see them dance altogether and not separately, they’re really synchronized. no one is off beat. stop it, get some help.

@@candicecb172 this is absolutely true. if u see other main dancers, all of them are extremely wild (?) and tend to show off their skills more when they are dancing alone but when they are in a group, they ALWAYS hold back. whenever u are in a group, u always need to be in sync and doesn’t look out of place so ig that’s why but believe me guys, main dancers shine the most when they are performing alone. don’t judge their skills based on group dance alone.
Minho is dance leader so he helps train the others in dance and, like Chan who is the leader, tends to take a backseat to let the others shine. In other words, Chan and Minho value the group over their own skills and so they rarely get to shine
to me, minho's dancing is literally perfect. as if it had been drawn frame by frame by an animator, his steps are always crisp and precise, his power not too much or too little. minho is my favorite dancer.

@@candicecb172 Hyunjin ( sorry i forgot how to spell his name ) Seems to overdance sometimes and they don’t make it a big deal .. but Lee know is told to not over due it so he doesn’t stand out . If anything he NEEDS to stand out .. but he said that he dances as one not individual.. Maybe he doesn’t like center but it would be nice if he was included . Even in music videos .. he only shows when the whole group is dancing and even then he barley shows .. I feel so bad , even though he is my bias i’m not bias towards him in the situation it’s just something that needs to be brought to JYPs attention ..

Many people Say that minho lacks face expressions. That's not true! The dancer he is on stage, that's his own character. To me he's more like the unreachable icy beauty who loves to show some of his own charm when he's at the front without exagerating everything. I do know that hyunjin is loved because he is mimicking a lot with his face. But let's just understand that Lee know is just that cold outside, warm inside person and it's reflecting on stage
And we should stop comparing him to Jinnie. Jinnie has a different Style, LeeKnow has his own Style too. Jinnie is more expressive or dramatic(a dramatic Illama) while Leeknow is more natural and doesnt over exagerate

GallyiTravels There are differences, Hyunjin was started training when he entered JYP, as we know JYP training they want trainees to be a STAR on stage, so mainly he was trained to be an Idol Dancer or a Performer on Stage. While Leeknow is Trained by Proffessional Dancers since he was a Child, he mentioned it once on Vlive, we can see the Experience he had. While Felix is a Self Taught Dancer which really impressed me that he is so Great I think people should also appreciate him more. All Danceracha are great, TBH along with Ateez and TXT SKZ Danceline are one of the Best in this Generation and the ones that can Rival NCT DANCELINE.

As a dancer I think Minho did the best. To be in sync with the beat is the first thing for a dancer. Then comes how smooth and clean your moves. Your moves must be well defined and not incomplete. Then amount of power you put at the exact time. I think Minho got all these. He hit very best precisely and neatly. Hyunjin has the best facial expressions which is also necessary if you're a performer. And Felix's has got some supernatural energy till the end.
@@xxx-xh8xr it’s not underdancing, there’s just restraint in his performance. lee know has talked about this before, he said whenever skz are performing, the way they look as a whole group is more important to him rather than how they dance individually. he was part of a dance crew prior to becoming an idol so he understands that sometimes, you can’t be dancing with more energy than the rest of the members. i think many people just fail to recognize the difference between underdancing vs. pulling back, just like how many fans can’t point out when an idol is overdancing because they think it just means that they have a great stage presence (but there’s also a difference between the two). and when i say pulling back, i don’t mean just for the sake of doing it, but more so that your energy matches the energy of the whole group. lee know does this and just makes sure that when it comes to technicality, his moves are smooth and clean.
felix may not be the best dancer, but he is for me. whenever there is a comparison among the dance line, he has always the least appreciation comments maybe because he is a lead dancer compared to the two who are the main dancers. but i just want this comment to be an appreciation comment for our lix because he deserve it. his journey to be part of stray kids really amazed me. even if he doesn't have a proper background as a dancer before and also with his short period of training, he can keep up with the two main dancers. he keeps on improving day by day. his dance skill is unique and powerful that may seem overdance but he never underdance. plus his stare, yeah-- im dead. i love all of them okay.
Finally someone is appreciating Lix I’m not saying stay don’t appreciate him but I’ve seen a lot of comments saying that Minho is under appreciated when that’s a whole lie. And they keep complaining about Minho not having enough lines when they seem to be forgetting that lix is one of two members that has one of the least lines in most SKZ songs. Dancing wise I think lix is underappreciated most people focus on his deep voice
It’s mostly because some people who like felix focus on his voice and face rather than his dancing. Just like when people focus on Hyunjin’s face rather than his dance. But people have been seeing Hyunjins facial expressions while he dances and loving it whereas felix they’re mostly focused on his face and voice still. Hopefully it’ll change but I doubt it since his voice is so deep and his face is so cute.
Lee know always catch my attention. He doesn’t miss a single beat and also his clean yet so detail moves really stand out. I don't know about dancing that much but that's my opinion.
leeknow: his dance is very agile and smooth. the way he has so much control over his body, which makes his dance so easy to watch. its almost like he’s harmonizing with his body. the way he grooves with his body like the music is controlling him is amazing. hyunjin: his dance is very sharp and precise. he hits all aspects and doesnt miss a beat, while his body is in sync with himself. very powerful and charismatic. very satisfying to watch his body move both masculinely and femininely. felix: his dance is very energetic and aggressive. it’s like hes having fun with the dance. all his moves are extra and he puts a lot of energy into it. he definitely expresses the moves loudly, and makes big, eyecatching movements. overall, all 3 dancers are extremely talented in their own way.
for me lee minho's dance didnt have to do anything to prove the ability of his dance , so i prefer lee know bcs yah at the first point he's our first main dancer and so flexible so no doubt but at this song , lee know didnt get many screen time to shine bcs he's not a center and maybe he didnt do so many expression . but wth ? he's a main dancer but why he's position is always in the back like srsly ? so yass my choose is always minho . and yes , i know hyunjin is a main dancer too , he got so many point , first , he's expression , no one can beat he with that expression and he's the center , so no wonder
LeeKnow did the Popping, arm movements and Footwork the Best Hyunjin has the best facials, and his movements are so powerful and sharp. Felix was full of energy, he dances so powerfully. I luv all but In my Opinion I choose LeeKnow. I really think this kind of Choreography fitted his Dancing Style
The 3 style of danceracha: (based on many STAY opinion) 1. Minho is "wind" (because his move so light and expert in detail and popping) 2. Hyunjin is "water" (because his move so flexible, specially the body roll) 3. Felix is "Fire" (because his move so powerful and bold) Hope this comment will help.
For me, LeeKnow did this the Best. Look at his Dance in the Dancebreak...his arm is very detailed(0:48), and his footwork is very precised. He did the "Popping" Part(0:44) the Best tho its so natural and it doesnt look forced, it really connects to the Beat. I think the best of him is his "footwork"(2:44), its so satisfying and he never misses the beat. He focuses on Clarity but Power is still present but he doesnt go off instead he has control. I think this Choreo style suited him alot as it is more Hiphop based But that doesnt mean the others arent, Hyunjin's style is power centered. I really love how his body is fully connected(1:04) to each other, and his Facials doesnt go off.. Felix's movements are powerful as well, he goes hard but his energy(2:34) is never drained!!! I think felix needs recognition in his Dancing
HYUNJIN DANCES SHARP AND MAKES CHOREO LOOK FIERCE & FELIX MAKE CHOREOGRAPHY LOOK SWAGGY AND A BIT HARD, WHEREAS MINHO.. HE DOES IT SO SMOOTHLY WITH EASE AS IF ITS NOTHING HAPPENED... THEY ALL ARE GOOD!
In my Opinion LeeKnow did the "Best" as his moves are very Detailed, Sharp and Fluid but is very Powerful with "Body Control" everything is balanced and he even pays attention to the Small Details. He goes Hard at some moves especially at Channie and Innie's part in 2:34 but you can still see the control as he doesnt "overdance". His Footwork are so Accurate aswell as his Arm movements. He has alot of Potential to do a Popping Dance Style as he really did it naturally.

Broo the precision of the move at 0:47. I saw a lot of videos of other members but minho is just on another level.. the square shape he makes with the hand.. he really dances with so much technique.. I've been commenting soo much on this video it's just a perfect example of how good he is

I'm not really that knowledgeable about SKZ. But I always come back to this video because the song is great, but also because of the dude on the left's ( Lee Know???) movements are SO SMOOTH and kinda satisfying to watch lol. Idk why. The others are amazing too also (I've watched the others), but his movements are kinda calming and just... smooth lol

They all have equally amazing dance skills, but I really love Hyunjin’s artistic expression and the precision which he hits the accents in the music. It’s nice to see the differences in the parts, too, they are easier to see side by side and how they complement each other beautifully.

Minho is like that one character in shonen anime who rarely uses all his power but when he does oh boy he could steal the protagonist‘s main role. I'm more a fan of Hyunjin, Han and BangChan. But I admit, Minho's dance is on point, on another level that when it comes to comparison, my eyes are completely lock on him.
- Minho as always, has the best line. His moves are precise, neat and he puts just the right amount of power in his moves- he is consistent from the first to the last beat and it's so captivating. he's no doubt the he has the best technique out of the three, you can see the experience ingrained in every moment. one day i want to see him not holding back and just go all out on stage. i'm excited and scared at the same time to see it because it's so obvious that HE HAS YET TO SHOW US EVERYTHING. istg we all gonna collectively perish when that time comes. - Hyunjin loves to bend the rules (bro he makes his own rules) and I love it so much. it's hard to believe that he's only been dancing for less than 5 years. he has his own flare, he's graceful and is overall a powerful dancer (tho i have to point out that compared to their actual performances, he seems more 'relaxed' here thus some moves looked like they were executed with less control ALSO his clip here is not in sync with the two by a few milliseconds AND IT AFFECTS THE COMPARISON A LOT because it made some of his moves look off in certain parts, the fancams were better- couldn't help but add that his double knot video was neat af he totally owned that choreo) I rlly shouldn't start talking abt his facials and stage presence bec i could write a whole essay about that. boy gets possessed by satan whenever he's on stage, he's a tantalizing performer- he commands your attention. - Felix, oh my boy Lixie. It's so satisfying to watch Felix be one with the rhythm, you can see that he's really in his own element when he's dancing, he's so energetic! it's hard to describe his style in dancing because it changes on every routine that they're doing but with that, you can safely say that he's versatile af- a really talented dancer indeed. I think the only problem with Lix is he has a tendency to overdance (and underdance) sometimes, but that's just technicality anyways and overdancing isn't a bad thing at all and shouldn't be taken in a negative way....i like it when they do that esp. when they're performing onstage and hyping the crowd (oh please I'm in love when they lose themselves onstage)
For people who thinks that leeknow's dance is too clean, nothing special or even boring, let's remember that this is a group dance.. and to make a group dance looks good, everybody must be in sync and therefore, should stick to the choreo and not try to outshine others, which is exactly what leeknow is doing.. imagine if all members start to give their own twist or style in the dance moves or to look stand out, the dance will look so messy.. so i think leeknow is being professional and responsible to his role as dance leader to stick to the choreo.. he cant expect the other members to do that if he doesnt do it.. he still stands out to me because of his on point moves
I became a stay when i watched their reaction vid on their God's menu mv. The comment section there was filled with LeeKnow not having enough screen time and line so i got curious abt the group. Ever since, i always look at LeeKnow in every mv, dance prac, live performance and i can say now that LeeKnow truly deserves enough screen time, line, and center time. Dude, this man deserves it.
Some people saying that the way minho dance isn't the best but he's just popular! Man we're this loud because he nailed this choreo while being in the back of it!! 3 of them are so popular! & are freaking talanted! End.
