I believe it’s because when you put the 4” figures on the pegs they just fall over because how their knee joints are made, but when you don’t have knee joints on the figure they go well on the peg, that also explains why 2.5” eggman had elbow joints but no knee joints.
Well the 50 dollar dose make sense for the nindroid due to it being a import figure and also when I got my tomy ultimate sonic figure I got it for around 16 bucks on walmarts site
Lemme clear something up. The Nendoroid didn't have a fair chance in terms of accuracy, because it's _Stylized._ it's a chibi version of modern sonic, because that's the Nendoroid style. Every character is shorter and stubbier than their game/anime counterparts, it is intended. But if we really are compsring them to official designs, there is an Archie design that does actually match up perfectly to the figure.
I’m getting a lot of Comments about how the Nendoroid is a more Chibi style and dosent stand a Chance against the other 2 I do understand that, I thinkkk I pointed that out in the Video, I think? but when it comes to these Types of Figures, the Accuracy of a Look is a Factor of it, I do prefer the Nendoroid look too but again, Accuracy plays a part in the Superior Figure so I went off more Accurate looks. Sorry for anyone that got Annoyed at me for that also yes I forgot about how he looks more like “Dreamcast Sonic” from SA1, while it is a good point, “Dreamcast Sonic” is just Modern Sonic and he doesn’t look like that anymore. again please don’t hate me just because I said that Nendoroid was inaccurate, really at the end of they day it’s up to you which is the superior one. This video was more on the “technical” side if that makes any sense
Jakks is really weird with their articulation. They give their normal classic sonic figure knee joints but no elbow joints but their ultimate figure elbow joints with no knee joints
until the middle of the video the nendoroid doesn't have any points, but when he started to gain points, he didn't stop, and reached the lead to win this "competition", I'm glad I chose nendoroid sonic
I think Tomy is the best for doing stop motion, his articulation and interchangeable faces and hands make him more expressible. Buuuuuut... his sculp is pretty bad, I don't like those oversized shoulders, the joints just break the desing and his eyes are weird. On the other hand Jakks has the best sculp, is the more faithful to the desing of the videogames but sacrifice articulation, I think he is worthing for only displaying Nendroid... sorry but I just don't like it, it's just odd that make him with the Modern desing but his proportions are more close to the classic, made me think "why just don't pick the classic desing instead?" But overall I think this case just pick up the one who you like the most or whatever the purpose you use it
If this comment is too long for you, what he basically said is TOMY is great for stop motion, cool poses, funny faces, and playing with. Jakks is best for displaying on a shelf and looking at for its clean sculpt. And for the nendroid he just doesn't like nendroid.
Tomy is the best. Thanks for ruining my brain and ending up losing all my brain cells. I was gonna say I’m gonna respect your opinion but the way you say his non existence oversized shoulders and his sculpt being dogshit then i look at the figure and there was nothing wrong with it WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!
I think the tomy figure is the best, while I’m in love with the nendroid the tomy one is affordable and has a nice sculp, and is a really nice display piece, (also a lotta accessories) but this is just my opinion so I hope no one in the comments starts a war lol
Pretty good video, but I'd say that the TOMY figure is the winner here. Jakk's figure definitely resembles the Gens/Concept Art Classic Sonic more, but the Jakks one strikes a better blend between different artstyles of Classic Sonic and as a result becomes more versatile, so in my opinion, i'd say it has the better sculpt. The expressions have a much more consistent artstyle on TOMY's, too.
Nice video! I feel like that nendoroid scales the best as it scales well with other figures like the sh figuarts Mario and others. While the tomy figure and jakks figures don’t scale with any other figures (so far). Also it’s nendoroid not nenderoid.
I own the nendoroid sonic it’s pretty cool if I didn’t have him now I’d pay a 60 for him instead of a 50 I also have the ultimate figure and I don’t like any of them more then the other but I hate the jakks collectors figure it sucks in my opinion but I’d recommend buying the other 2 they’re really good
Can we take in a moment to appreciate the fact that we finally got sonic figures with different hands faces and other accessories for the figures I’m very grateful to good smile company and to my for making these figures
@Louis hype Louis how yea I picked these guys up for myself pretty decent not gonna lie, better than previous Sonic figures we've gotten over the years
ngl i love the nendoroid as it scales with a lot of the mario figures and other figures but the overall look is cleaner in my opinion and they have a lot of accessories too.
good the video but i think the nendoroid sculpt point is not really good it because of the fact that the whole nendoroid figure is in this chibi style good smile like to put there character in sega would want it to be accurate unless if it the company main style like funko pop
i just wanna say NENDROID SUCKS AS* MINE FELL A PART THE HEAD WAS CONPLETLEY BROKEN THE ITEM BOX COLOR WENT GRAY AND I USED MY FIGURE TO DISPLAY IT AND I HAVE IT FOR 2 YEARS NOW THE ULTIMATE SONIC FIGURE IS THE BEST THE ULTIMATE SONIC FIGURE IS THE BEST BECAUSE I OWN IT FOR 4 YEARS AND ITS. GOOD
Tomy has great articulation which makes it great for playing with, it comes with a variety of funny faces that you you can mix and match, and a cool base so you can make him do cool poses! The nendroid has less face and body accessories, but it has wayyy more background and item accessories The nendroid also has less articulation. My answer is. Get both if you can! Both are great figures and they're really fun to look at! I'm getting myself a TOMY since it's cheap but also really good for poses!
I agree then nendroid Sonic looks a lot like classic instead of the New one bc I see that his arms and legs are short and belly is round that is definitely like a mixture of modern and classic in one kinda weird 🤨
I would have picked the tomy ultimate. The jakks has way too little for its price and the nendroid is innacurate to the design m, he looks mire like either adventure or a mix of modern and classic
What the hell, why would you choose the nendriod version over to my? What’s with it you with tomy? The worst part was that you gave the jakks pacific figure more points! What the hell! Tomy’s figure was the best out of the 3. It’s not a joke. Has way more articulation, can pose really well, and has a unique design! That’s the style man! Trust me, the tomy one is better than the nendriod just a tiny tinsey better.
While I 100% respect that opinion, Personally I still do prefer the Nenderoid, I love Tomy’s figure but Nenderoid being a more of an actual unique style, and the inclusion of a good selection of accessories make it a better deal to me. And yea, I’m not gonna lie looking back at this video makes me wanna redo it because i can see how dirty I did Tomy. Idk I really have to actually redo this to really put into words that I do like Tomy more.
You do realize that Nendoroids are both nice, collector figures AND always chibi proportions, right? Of course he's not proportioned correctly, he's not supposed to be. The other two are cheap toy brands.
In my opinion the nendoroid sonic is the best one. Because he scales well with other figures and has more accessories including that dope chaos emerald! But I respect your opinion.
@@denicefernandez540COUGH COUGH AUGH AUGH SSfGhHdudhff but anyways, yes nendoroid is in second. I got jakks unfortunately and it was god damn over priced!!??!?! And yes i respect your opinion.
