The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I'm not huge on /most/ anime, but that one is phenomenal and I would recommend it to almost everyone.

I love who they match between The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya cast but the Sonic Characters. Haruhi/Amy. They crazy and energetic. Kyon/Sonic. They are the male leads. Yuki/Blaze. Ironic but it makes sense. Blaze is from another dimension. Miraku/Tikal. Time travelers but Tikal is from the past. Itsuki/Silver. Both have strange abilities. Kyon's sister/Cream. They cute kids. Both 6 years old
