I'm from Pak and Pakiatan Army had shotlisted these two helicopters and tested them thoroughly after all kind of testing they chose T129, but its uses American Engine and US refused to approve this deal...so Pakistan had to go for Chinese Z10 Now but with some modification as per our requirment This case study proves that Turkish T129 is indeed a better attack helicopter than Chinese One, atleast if we talk about the older version of Z10...Cant say about newer version the one modified for Pakistan

T-129 is the former Agusta A-129 Mangusta

T129 is a joint production of TAI and Leonardo companies. Augusta is not related to A-129 Mangusta. Augusta is twice as powerful as A-129 Mangusta. Design, avionics and armament are different. Software etc.

@@kazimkorkmaz Agusta (not Augusta) joined Westland as Agusta Westland in 2000, then in the end was absorbed by Leonardo in 2016. T-129 is a derivative of the A129, certainly following an evolution path, but the origin is the italian Agusta A129.

@@alex3261 That's what I mean. A129 was developed with the Turkish-Italian partnership and became T129. The Agusta/Augusta issue is a small oversight. Sorry.

@joeallencaseres2035 china is way more advanced than turkey. The z10 is heavier armor plated and has stronger engines 1200 kw vs 1000kw. I'd put my money on china over turkey any day.

@@bozok6360 LOL how does that show to you the Z10 is not good? The T129 is fine but it doesn't have much armor like the heavier Z10 which btw uses Chinese engines of 1200+KW. The T129 uses only 1000Kw engines which the Turkish can't make. The US cut off these engines when they wanted to export the T129 to Pakistan. The Chinese are way more advanced than the Turkish. The WZ10 is at least as good as the T129 if not better because of stronger engines and armor plating.

@@darksword1 relax . I wanted to say that you can not compare the U.S engines with Chinese ones . You know the reason why? Second thing is yes Turkey does not make those engines and what ? We are discussing these the U.S made engines on T129 and they are better than Chinese ones. Also, Chinese do not have that much war experience. This Turkish made airplane was made with military experience that the Turkish army possess . They know what is good on the battlefield and what is not. They build then use it and improve the weapon further. Having fast engines is not a sign of superiority Russian gets faster then F 35 . So what ? The U.S made their aircraft with superior radars and missiles that can hit enemies miles away so fast engines are not priority anymore.because dog fight are ww2 era thing not 21 century
