Comparison of the Greenwood and Wildwood Tarot 

Thank you so much for the comparison. As pretty as the Wildwood Tarot is, the Greenwood Tarot stole my heart when I purchased the deck back in the summer of 1997 in Glastonbury, UK. Sadly I lost the book but so excited to hear the book is available for pdf download.

The "storyteller" is no extra card, it is the backside of the Greenwood Tarot. I own the original deck.

I have the Wildwood Tarot, which I feel speaks to me through my Celtic roots. Thank you for the introduction to the Greenwood: I love how it captures the energetic realm. Very reminiscent to me of drawings done by people after Ayahuasca journeys. A real lifting of the veil between the worlds. Love your trimmed Wildwood. I don’t like the wide borders in that deck but I’m still too afraid to trim decks.

That Greenwood tarot is STUNNING. So earthy and beautiful, it really speaks to me. I have and love the Wildwood 💚 Wonderful vid, Nina 💚🌿

Thank you for this walkthrough! I've been waffling back and forth for ages over whether to go thru the trouble to print off the greenwood tarot and you've convinced me it's well worth the time and energy!

They both look like decks I would enjoy using. Interesting how you seemed to be more drawn to the Greenwood tarot whereas I was more drawn toward the Wildwood tarot. Both seem to have a reasonable closeness in symbology and numerology to the Rider-Waite. Considering getting the Wildwood tarot to explore more deeply. Really like the seasonal/rotation theme of both decks with close connections to the natural world. Thanks for the walk through. Just what I was looking for and you have a softish voice that is easy on the ears.

I really enjoyed this, it was great to see them side by side with such clarity. I found myself really curious about the several court changes. It's lovely you have both to enjoy and they are very different. I could happily use both if I had the greenwood also.

No, it wasn't too long at all. Chesca's deck doesn't get enough attention. I'm so glad you showed it, and compared the two. I hope more people get it.

Finally got to watch this, I can see why the Greenwood appeals to you so much, it is very you. Both decks look great but for me personally I like the Wildwood Tarot better, I have two decks the Druid Animal & Plant oracle by Will Worthington and I have always loved his Art style, I got the Druid Animal one on my honeymoon in NZ coming up to 16 years ago in Jan! This was a really great video, don't worry that it was long sometimes it just has to be long, the deck demands the extra attention.

This was wonderful. I have - and adore - both of these decks, but I've never done a side-by-side comparison of them. I really enjoyed doing that along with your video. Have you worked much with these decks since you recorded this video? Did one come out as your favorite? I also have the two non-guidebook companion books for the Wildwood that are wonderful. Going through the wheel of the year with both decks has been a wonderful practice for me.

I love them both for different reasons. I love the more realistic artwork of the Wildwood Tarot however I love the energy that is coming off of the Greenwood Tarot. Either way I want them both...lol Thank you for sharing beautiful lady. ♥

I still prefer the Wildwood imagery. Not sure what all the fuss is about with the Greenwood. I guess because it's so hard to find?

... thank you so much for the card by card comparison. I am very much more in favour of the original. However, I'm not sure if I feel the urge to track a copy and get one. They've gotten quite pricy ... and I've got some decks that function in the celtic/animal/nature sense.

Loved this video I love both decks , I just ordered the wildwood for like 13 dollars , but I truly would like to print out the Greenwood deck and book like you did did you use a service or did.you do.it yourself at home ?? I want the greenwood I'm more drawn to the feel. Every deck I have requires intense dives and lots of reading and study These decks would be a nice departure from my current mode. If you did print them.yourself what stick did you use?

actually, the ww 11, the woodward corresponds to gw 8, strength - someone somewhere chose to invert the 8s and 11s. look closer at the images, they look the same. the ww book says 11 corresponds to strength.

Loved this comparison. Decks are similar but different. I was gifted the Wildwood Tarot, but have not used it yet. Just out of interest, how did you print the Green man Tarot and what is the card stock like?

I have downloaded the pdf file that says large cards no writing pdf. so how do I print this off? I really like the greenwood deck. I feel it has a feminine voice and the wildwood has a masculine voice. I would like to use them together too. but cannot figure out how to print the deck from the pdf file? I am a novice at this.
