The fist way is the best way to do it, why put kit out that isn't required? Also the light should be in the road and also the WRLSWH should be in the road as it minimises people risking driving around it. Obviously the lights and signs would have cones next to them. Also on lead taper there should be the light in between the two arrows as I have always done it this way and not had a problem in 6 years

Can anyone answer this question if possible pleas? I came across a traffic light set like this yesterday (it was a 4 way control) the lights went Red before I could get through so I pulled up to the When Red Light Shows Wait here sign and after 3 seconds after stopping the camera on top of the trafic light turned Red until the lights went to Green. Does anybody know why that is? It was like 2 red lights on top of each other.
