Lecture notes 1. Comparison is natural; but as prophet saaw said that if are to compare( which you would likely do) set right reference points. ( means the person you want to compare has to be a good person and have good points to compare with. You cannot compare yourself to somone in the area that he listens to more music than i do so i would compare myself and go beyound him). 2. Remember every person has thier own question papers to attempt which Allah swt has made based on thier scenarios and their level of understanding. Dont try to solve somone elses paper as you might fail that. 3. Compare yourself with somone higher than you in iman and compare yourself with somone who has been given less than you in worldly matters. 4. When you compare; your nature become complaining one. 5. Prophet saaw said when somone wakes up and he has wealth, has security and food for that day its like hes been given all the world. 6. If you want happiness in your life dont compare yourself to others. Make dua for those who you think being given more and you fear you might become victim of jealousy. JazakAllah o khair
