Scythia sounds way better 👌 I will always prefer games that has all the expansions inside, don't like to start with a basic and then say to myself "umm this should be more fun let's buy another expansion..." I do own some games that are base and then expansion but to be honest I really prefer the mode of buying games with the expansions inside and not the other way around
I play Raiders of the North Sea as an app and really enjoy it. I think I will as a copy of Raiders of Scythia to the list of my next board game purchased. These Garphill games seem to be excellent quality, very playable and good value. I own several of the West Kingdom Trilogy along with some expansions.
Probably going to have to say Scythia. North Sea, on its own, is a bit lighter than I typically enjoy. The expansions really improve it and in Scythia its all there in a smaller tidier box. (also probably half the price compared to buying all the expansions)
Scythia is a great game! Box is small but heavy and fully packed. Its hard to belive that such a big game fit in. Components are great quality. I played solo as well witch easy difficulty and i won only by 2 points. AI is veeeery easy to operate. Just do things on AI cards. Quick and smooth action.
