Put mustard on your burns. If you're cooking and get burned put mustard on the burn, this way the redness and the sore leaves and you're not stuck with red marks. I heard this from a chef and ever since I've been doing, and it works Everytime, however you want to keep it on for about 24 hours with (you don't have to) a napkin.
The "staying low during a fire" was something I learned when I was very young. Our teacher back then told us that oxygen stays below the smoke, as it is apprently heavier, therefore staying low or crawling would lessen the chance of suffocation.
You should *never ever* jump or “bunny hop” if escaping a fell power line. Never ever. You could fall and then you’re dead 100%. Move your feet without lifting them off ground
Yea this. There's a different method called penguin walk where you maintain your contact with the ground and slowly waddle your way to safety while keeping your feet to the ground.
@@ArshiaOudi-ik8wi the first one is ridiculous. There are a lot of other alternatives to "coma". For example, I sometimes wake up amd feel like I can't breathe because I have panic attacks. To some people it can happen because of sleep apnea, for example. And 2:sure, you can be dehydrated, but it can also have a lot of other causes:stress, poor posture, hormonal changes etc
"If a powerline falls nearby, don't walk" I'm an electrician and I know that you MUSN'T jump in any form because the electricity is going to catch you in the air, you have a grounded floor anywhere if you wear rubber shoes or anything that won't let the electricity through the material, the best option is to rub your feet on the floor to not let the electricity catch you. When you said bunny hop, it will cause the same energy as you walk because the grounded floor defends you and not the air.
Shuffle or hop, just don't spread your feet. As soon as you put one foot forward, you're bridging the voltage differential that's running across the ground from the power source, and then ZAP!
About a gun. If its close enough to almost touch you, you have a chance to disarm. if youre far, you can try dodging and looking for cover. But in the middle distance theres no avoiding the bullet
I'd say not to try to disarm a gun in someone's hand, go for the gun arm instead, not the gun, makes it harder to shoot you if you are close, then you can try disarming it
a little girl runs into the living room and shouts: mommy! dad hung himself in the basement!the women bursts down into tears and makes her way into the basement. once there, she looks around but doesn't see a corpse. the little girls says then: april fools! he did it in the garage!
0:37 “Cops don’t need warrants to search your vehicle” You shouldn’t even include that on here if you aren’t gonna elaborate any further. Guys, this absolutely does not mean a cop can search your car any time they want. They need probable cause, and that’s just as good as a warrant. Do not relinquish your rights.
Are fish really attracted to soap? You’d think that would deter them from even biting the hook. I thought fish liked nasty smells like garlic, liver, insects, etc.
umm so i've always been told that if you ever call 911 by accident, you should always tell them instead of hanging up becuase they will probably think you cant speak or smth, and they can track your location is it still necesary to tell them the location first even though they can probably track ur location?
It’s true that they can track you, but if you give them your exact location with details they might be able to find you faster (for example if youre in your house they can see which house it is but they don’t know exactly where in the house)
0:34 While yes they don’t need to have a warrant they need to have reasonable suspicion. If you do not consent to a search and they search anyway and they didn’t have a reasonable suspicion you can fight it in court! Thanks Law by Mike.
Interesting tips. Also, I heard that if you break your car window using your headrest, you should make sure that you reattach the headrest back to your seat, apparently.
If you are in a situation where you need to break a car window to escape the car, you have more important things to do than putting back the headrest. Get to safety!
911 also works everywhere you get connected to the local helping service. Same for 112 and most other emergency numbers. I Just call a random one you know. I once called 911 in the Netherlands and you wil just be connected to the emerency service of the Netherlands and so on.
It can. Sawdust is put into for food for filler. During world War 1, during the end of the war, the Germans had to make beard out of mostly saw dust because of lack of wheat.
@@afox1689they cannot search your house without a warrant, even with probable cause. You're probably thinking of exigent circumstances, which is very very specific
