From the new "how to Play Afro Cuban Congas" DVD by Toca artist Michael Pluznick. This is part of the ensemble demo section (after basic parts are shown). Comparsa is an Afro Cuban Carnival (festival) rhythm. The arrangement here uses congas (conga drums) and surdos and is for small ensemble of 5 people.
