Comparsion BEDROCK RTX versus JAVA shaders 

I like the bedrock ones better because first of all, they're true RTX shaders and secondly they feel more vanilla.

Back in 2014-2015, who would have even expected anything close to this

In java, entities and items can have reflection but in Bedrock, reflection is perfect

The thing that lacks in the bedrock rtx is the player reflection and a dynamic player shadow

Java shaders, in fact, do have cloud shadows. Take a look at complimentary reimagined. It will not have it at first. You have to enable it in the settings. Also the shader you have user for java is quite old. I would recommend you to use a more updated shader like seus ptgi or complimentary and make another comparision. And the inacurracies you've pointed out in the video are nothing but bugs. And personally, i like java shaders more. I have been equally playing both java and bedrock for 10 years now so im not telling anything just by watching a youtube video or something.

I like both but I personally like bedrock more because first: FPS Second: reflection But java don't even have real rtx source it just add beautiful appearance But bedrock also has real light source too

To be honest 1 for me your textures have the best quality for the best performance 2 I prefer your Bedrock edition. Even though Java runs smoother. The Bedrock edition works perfectly while Java has some bugs. Like for example for me the gold. Block is an untextured purple and black block which sucks:/

In java just use a mods that make reflection good or just use a really good Shader or enable raytraced reflection

evening, by any chance you guys will change the download server/page in the future ? i am always getting timeout downloading through browsers, any way to help? I manage to dl the uhd but i am also trying to dl the hd since I just found out Minecraft still doesn't have much memory.

My opinion is if you want TRUE rtx then go for bedrock. I like java shaders more for the look but the performance is worse on java. Because I think java can't actually use the rtx core's on a rtx card. While bedrock can use the rtx core's wich makes the performance much better.

I kinda hate shaders for changing the artistic look of vanilla minecraft. But Bedrock RTX keeps the vanilla look while giving the superior shader feel, so I denitely prefer bedrock rtx. But ofc this is just me :) no hard feelings

I have a feeling the reflection maps on the texture pack you're using are broken in some way.

Ngl for bedrock and java u used the just avg texture packs ( I highly recommend u use Kelly's vanilla texture pack for bedrock and sues for java or bsl)

you should try some ray traced shader like seus ptgi or continuum rt or apolo rt. these shader can better:)

It's SEUS renewed? in seus renewed don't have real time ray tracing reflections, SEUS ptgi hrr/12 have ray tracing reflection in real time not SSR!

Reflections don't work because this is a beta shader or its an old one rtx is better than about 17 percent of all java shaders, it all depends about the java shaders Ur using

I already downloaded the version for mcp but nothing comes out, everything seems dark to me it doesn't let me see anything and I downloaded a previous version of minecraft to see if it was that and indeed it was that with 1.17.11 if it lets me see all the texture, but ¿ what about 1.19.2? Nothing comes out everything is black can you fix that

the real reason why bedrock rtx looks better is because rtx uses path tracing and normal shaders dont. try using path tracing shaders in java so things look more accurate, try a shader like continuum rt or seus ptgi hrr 3.0, which are both fully raytraced.

Bedrock is better

there is a big misconception about "ray tracing shaders". The truth is it's just naming and it's actually path tracing shaders. You can't call it ray tracing when it can't use RTX lmao. Big dumb dumb whoever decided to name it ray tracing shaders cus it cant even ray trace at all
