ཐེངས་འདིའི་ང་ཚོའི་ལས་རིམ་ནང་། རིམ་པོ་ཆེ་མཆོག་གིས་སྤྱི་ཚོགས་ཞབས་ཞུ་དང་ཆོས་ལུགས་མཐུན་སྒྲིལ། བྱམས་བརྩེའི་ཐོག་ནས་སྤྱི་སྨན་ཕྱག་ལས་གནང་བའི་གནད་དོན་སོགས་དང་འབྲེལ་ནས་བཅར་འདྲིའི་གླེང་མོལ་ཞུས་པ་ཞིག་རྒྱང་སྲིང་ཞུས་ཡོད་པས་དགྱེས་གཟིགས་ཡོང་བ་ཞུ།།
Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche was born in Odisha, India. He is a son of renowned terton/treasure revealer Namkha Drimed Rabjam Rinpoche. Rinpoche has firsthand experience of the plight of Tibetan refugees and local villagers in finding and retrieving potable water. This inspired him to found the Pure Water Project. A project appreciated by Tibetans and locals alike in Odisha to this day. Rinpoche has also worked to prevent the spread of malaria and treatment programs in villages. We sat down with Rinpoche to talk about his charitable works, personal life, etc.
