Anchor is making so much confusion. He's most confused person. He doesn't allow to get answer for his first question and asked the second question out of context and very random which has no link to the previous question. He has no knowledge of words. His choice of words us so pathetic and and when Ghamdi Sahab stopped him using "Jahil Awaam " word , he accused his guest of trying to get public sentiment, Oh God. The thing is when someone has too much ambition and and try to be famous overnight then he made these kind of mistakes but forget about that the people can judge very well who's right and who is wrong. Democracy in itself is a method for forming goverments and it is without any values , So islamic constitution provides framewok and value system to control the purely democratic method , which is based on majority rule , against violating the rights of different classes of people and the Shariah , Even political ideologies like Liberalism , socialism are Also in need of constitution to control a purely democratic process and to protect their fundemental values and beliefs from posible harm from majority rule . So Muslims political philosphers belive in Democracy with an Islamic Paradigm instead of Liberal paradigm .

Anchor was a little unfair to Ghamdi, but Ghamdi has failed to provide a satisfactory answer to his questions. According to Ghamdi, majority should run the system even if it’s wrong which makes a good case of shia belief of Imamat where the Khalifa is always chosen by Allah just like prophets because people are flawed and they can always select wrong people as their leaders.
If a few people are given the authority to choose a leader, it will end up into dictatorship, tell me 1 country in the world which has been succesful with the system. Look at the arabs, all they are left with is being at the mercy of west as they spent all their life's in luxury without spending any wealth on competing in science, technology or miltary even after they were graced by Allah with such wealth. Hasnt american, uk etc been succesful with democratic system as ghamidi said! Hw can it be possible tht few ppl decide on electing the leader of the masses. It will always end up in benefiting the few! I believe the best system is adopted by US.
