They should end it when it gets to 10. Then it should put them all in a random race circuit and eliminate the last place car until only the car in first is left.

You know what driving game would be great with a battle royale mode like this? Spintires. Imagine fighting to stay ahead of a jeep on a narrow muddy pathway, only to come head to head with a pair of trucks racing each other the other way. Absolute anarchy.

They do have the "stay on roads until destination" thing from the business challenges. They should use that in an optional mode

When you're choosing a new car there's an option to cancel and keep your car below the car select.

You can keep your car by pressing down on the D-Pad. That's "Cancel."

This looks like a lot of fun - I just love the idea of any game mode that gives you a reason to make an epic journey across the map using any random vehicles you can get your hands on

Best moment is: Select your car! You can have a Mini, or a .... Mini? And then: Choose your starting position, you have 0 seconds 😂😂

Whenever a challenge is given both cars should be insta-set next to each other facing the target. Now the randomness pretty much means skill doesn't matter. Its all about luck.

On the final race, I always try to anticipate where the destination is based on the final circle. By that I mean decide on the probable location of the finish point and drive out of the circle when the head-to-head is disabled. You should be able to survive it easily. It's a very high risk - high reward strategy, but if you get it right, your chances sky-rocket.

I would like, maybe a fair start to the races so someone can’t just zoom past you going 60, while you have to turn around, and get going again, blah blah. Also, the ending 10 person race, some people basically are ontop of the finish line once it starts, the last race it like stupid RNG.

Great Vid. I would end it like the Burnout 3 elimination mode where you're all in a infinite race going wherever and ever 30 seconds or so the person in last place gets eliminated. I think that's would be a fun way to end it

there is always a reason to stay on the tarmac when that is the fastest way to the location tho

I'd suggest using sim damage, to encourage using roads. You can still blast across fields, but it's a risk, rather than the obvious solution.

Cool concept and quite a clever way to execute. Never would have thought of approaching someone to challenge them

The end point should be where it maximizes the average distance between the finish and each car's beginning location. That gives advantage to higher tier cars while still allowing lower tier cars a way to get lucky with map positioning.

FailRace: What if I told about a battle royale... Me: Not interested. FailRace: ...that involved racing cars? Me: I'm listening.

I thought it was going to be something like Road Rage from Burnout, races with simulation damage and whatnot, last car running wins. Perhaps that's what they could do for the finale, simulation damage turns on and it's a race to disable your opponents cars whilst preserving your own.

you can actually stay outside of the boundary for quite some time. i think it is almost a minute. there is no worry if you end a race on the outside

Gotta love that a VW Golf can mow down full grown trees! Haha. You'd think you'd be coming across a lot more other people to race than just a handful. Yea, a mad dash to the end is kind of dumb. Maybe they should do it where the cars with the most wins go head-to-head for first and second, third and fourth and that's it?

This mode would be much better if there was a road checkpoint system of sorts rather than driving in a straight line across the fields for most of the map :(

For the map, I've personally set it to the "Select" button (where your "Interact" button is), and set the "Interact" button to pressing in the left stick. It may sound weird, but it's actually very convenient. I guess you could also simply set the map to pressing the left stick.

They should add more pickups like engine or suspension upgrades rather than just new cars and adding slower cars that are better at off-roading combined with faster cars that just cant handle dirt would make it more interesting cause it would give people a reason to stick to the roads

The quarry is a great and a terrible place at the same time. Yesterday I had a Bentley Continental and I almost had a mental breakdown after I stuck on a rock and cannot move. On the next round I found a level 8 Gallardo and I scored my first win with it.

The challenges should spawn 3 or 4 checkpoints along a road to remedy the 'point and shoot' style of races. The last 8-10 cars should be teleported to a circuit and have every lap knock out the player in last place until you find a winner.

You can set a button under custom controls settings that goes straight to map! I use it really quick and it’s really helpful

when you win a duel, just press down on d-pad to keep your existing vehicle

there is an option to keep your car: press down on dpad when it gives you an option of hitting left or right.

I like the 6x6 on straight field races it’s an absolute beast

I think they should do something like the Minecraft games for the end and teleport the people left to a different location like a race track with X laps.

That final race was painful to watch...

Didn't know you could get a better car than what your opponent was driving. I usually have been just driving around looking for drops and then do the ending race. Won a round once on stream when i got an amg gtr from a guy that challenged my ranger raid pickup.

"Nope, not the Quattro!"😂 The best place to challenge cars on a higher level than myself is in forested areas; it takes away the speed advantage and then it's often just a matter of hitting less trees than your rival. Feel free to check out my Eliminator races if you're interested!

you can cancel the trading of cars after a race by hitting down on the d pad

i think for the end i would have everyone teleported to the same place and then have them race to the finish line. That way everyone has to race the same distance and it will all be about driving skill and what routes you take.

Another way to do this is to just make the game a simple race and after 1 lap the person in last place is eliminated, then this goes over and over again until 1 person remains

I was playing this once and I was in Mortimer gardens and I was still looking for a car drop with my mini. I looked in the distance and I saw a car drop, as soon as I was under it a trophy truck came out of nowhere and I guess you know how that ended.☠️

I thought it looked like garbage from the trailer, but this is actually not bad! Definitely some kinks to work out, but overall good job Forza. Even if it is a battle royale

I had a heck of a time in my 2nd go at this. Wound up outside the circle trying to find a better car, and had the arena shrank around me; managed to get back in, having to scramble through the streets, found a porsche panamera (I think) and the end-point was somewhere on the beach - right by where I'd started too (if I'd just stayed there and hid... lol) - and managed to win the sprint across the sand by what had to be inches.

I really hope GTA 5 copies this and improves it, since they copy everything into that game lol. Just Imagine, racing to points in the city with Arena War cars

I almost feel like once it gets to the final race it should reset every car that made it to a starting line and then you all race to the end point. At least then you are all starting at the same location making it less lucky if you happen to be in a better position than someone else. Looks really fun though.

I got a Lamborghini last night, completely screwed me over. Seems to change out automatically, I was in an area with minimal roads against a Ram, kept getting stuck on rocks.

I actually won my first game in that Subaru. It's honestly really great offroad

I think not being able to race is not actually a glitch but a system to make it fair so if the person is 2 levels or more above or below your level both challenger and challenged player has to press the horn so a level 2 isnt forced to battle a level 5 or 6

With the quick map access , i have it on X on my xbox controller on PC, but you can map it anywhere you want in settings...

if you use automatic transmission, the map button is then the small button on the controller above the D pad, it is the same button as the CLAIM CAR button while in manual transmission. while in automatic the CLAIM CAR button will be X.

The top 10 should just be put into an actual race

The name of winning this game is to honestly have a Rally car, I got the Porsche Baja car and won 3 races and then the game with it, and it think it's a tier 6 car. As offroad as this game is, it pays to have something better at off-roading than something fast...

you actually can choose to keep your car, if you press down on the D pad it will cancel the swap.

For the ending they can line the cars up somewhere on the map and have a multi checkpoint drag race

The only good thing about my time with the 6x6 was beating a Pro 2 truck in a head 2 head and getting the underdog achievement. Was disappointed getting stuck with it until I realized they gave it an AWD swap.

The random waypoints in races generally point you towards the middle of the arena

pssst.... it might not be a bad idea to add zoom function into minimap(current one, zone map, large map) and you can adjust size of it in settings

My first match ever I finished 4th in the amg gt now I can’t even get to the final death thing at the end. I don’t like how it’s just completely luck based I like when I find myself racing through the city cuz you can’t just bum rush it straight like you can in the fields so actual driving skill comes into the equation

2 of the complaints are just wrong. You DON'T have to switch cars if you win a head-to-head, just don't select either option and you can continue driving in your current car. The map is a SINGLE press of the 'menu' button on the controller. No idea what it is if you're somehow using mouse/keyboard, but you're using a controller judging by the on-screen prompts.

Concept: each head to head has an initial race to a starting point for the follow-up race that will determine a winner. other drivers can join the head to head, the follow-up race will increase in reward depending on the field and the order in which each driver arrives determines their grid position. the final race will use the same formula but maybe add some unique horizon flare for the follow up race like with the showcase events taking advantage of the scenery of the location, the history of automobiles, and the theme of an ongoing festival celebrating the motorsports.

you certainly can interact with a race while its happening; if you see a high level player beating up a low level one you can crash the high level one in hopes that they can't get to an even higher level.

Flawed logic! It IS better to take the same fast route as other cars and hope for a mistake from them than to take a high-risk alternate route just because it's different, especially if there's water on that route. There's no shame in being beaten, unless it's by a LOT!

Can you do an Australian car team adventure in A class? (ignore forza and use ford falcons and Chrysler valiants as well as holdens), another idea is s1/s2 class FWD cars because that would be mad

I’d recommend starting at the airstrip. I played 2 games, one i got a Stelvio first and the other i got a Audi R8.

Just played my first match and finished 2nd in a Ferrari FF.

Who the hell thought it was a good idea to just throw a random marker out with 9 cars left? The least it could do is line everyone up for that final race. I had a lot of fun watching the races, and the game mode was a damn good idea, but everything seems random to a point where winning is mostly just a matter of dumb luck. Don't get me wrong, their should be some luck involved. For example; the car drops are fine. But not even knowing which direction you'll be headed when a challenge is issued, kinda removes skill from the equation.

For the final race, they should hide all player names and map icons, and let everyone reach the finish line - so you might not know if someone is already there or not.

You should do more of these

I wish the did a a demolition derby like the crew 2 for the end of the game in the ring. That'll be fun. Last one without a wrecked car win
