No, not really. Even tho that’d be funny. Every olympics, the host can choose up to 5 new sports or something. So in Tokyo, they chose baseball and softball, karate, sport climbing, surfing and skateboarding. The last three remained on the program for 2024 olympics. But in 2024 they also chose to add breaking. I believe in 2023, the American committee already decided to scrap all of those sports and instead add baseball and softball, lacrosse, cricket, squash and flag football (btw, totally not bc most are mostly just popular sports in America, so America has more winning potential, ofc, lol. Instead of more fairly selecting just 1 or 2 national sports, like the other host countries did😁)

As a non-native english speaker I was with frankie during the rubber and glue conversation because I had never heard the rest of the saying, so my understanding of it was straight up that glue doesn't stick to rubber so they aren't a good match😂 Made perfect sense to me😅
I'm 32, and when I was around 6 I had this freaking weird dream that The Mask is in my apartment and tries to get me. Woke up, stormed off in my parents' room and snuggled with my mom! I will never forget this!
So fun fact about chess being a sport: chess players burn SO many calories because of how hard their brain is working. The brain runs on carbs so proper carb intake is super important for chess players. I think it’s a sport for that reason. I would think e-sports would require a similar level of mental energy

I did javelin in college (I was terrible at it) but it’s so hard. The best way I can describe it is trying to throw a ping pong ball as hard as you can. Javelins are so light that most of the time you throw through it or it doesn’t land correctly
