Every single snap as an offensive lineman had a drop step or toe point. The speed and extra power makes all the difference in positioning. Great tip!

Do any shooters wear cleats?

Absolutely! Mostly Salomon trail/hiking shoes, but some do wear cleats. Need something that will grip on grass, sand, dirt and gravel.

I would like to get some information on 3gun shooting competition and training? Where would be a good place to start looking for this info?

This might be helpful: 3 Gun Competition Gear - The Essentials ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gsonaHmFABU.html Joe also talks about getting involved in 3-gun.

When going forward, that hop is actually slowing you down (both feet should never leave the ground like that). When going to the left and right, you are doing it much better. JMHO

The problem is that you're not able to gain the shin angle necessary for aggressive movement quickly. Put it on a timer and see what is actually faster. Keep in mind it's not a hop UP, it's a drop.
