Erol looked so good & you gave him such a great ride keeping him from running out---and he listened & believed! Second time to the Scary Jump he didn't even notice it. What a champ. Izzy did a great ride, too, not getting flustered when Tiny got spooky, she just quietly took control & moved him forward! And Zeb, what can you say, senior, professional, makes it look easy. He deserves a nice XC hack w/ the witches & maybe Steve, if he's up to it. And that's such fun to watch, too!

Congratulations on your 1st place for main man Zeb, he absolutely aced those jumps, and made it all look effortless, for 21 years of age, he is quite simply amazing. Errol was such a good boy, ok he had a moment, but you got him to go forward Ashley, well ridden indeed, well done Errol you did fantastically well, and deserved your rosette. Ashley he has really come on in leaps and bounds, hope you see that too. You live in a lush wet area...do you do anything specific to keep their feet thrush free. We are having an extremely WET year (which is unusual as it is usually just summer) and our horses feet are suffering. Another fab video of the witches. Tiny left his brain in the float... Erol didn't flatten right out for a very unlucky knock. Jumping so well up until then...but oh so casual, lol You and Zeb...best round I've seen you do in the showjumping. Lots of grit. I see Harry in the distance in the 2nd round..'observing'.....

Well done! Personally I think you now need to teach Erol to stay rounder inbetween and over the jumps, he’s not working over the back enough and his neck looks a bit upside down. Looking forward to seeing the progress 😊

I love watching your vlogs Ashley, they're very entertaining especially as someone who wants to start eventing :). I always notice how patient and well behaved all your horses are in the trailer at shows/events. My horse is very good in the trailer but can be a bit impatient standing in it after we arrive somewhere or once he's loaded and we haven't started moving. Do you have any advice on how you keep yours happy? Thanks :)

I feel horrible for both horses!

Why do you need to continue competing that horse.. Horses that age need to be retired whether their health is perfect or not .Its just sad to see him still competing just for your benefit. Maybe think about what's best for your horse instead of what's best for you.
