On your first test hand you didn’t need to use sunlight wolfs effect to add back roar to hand, roar can automatically reset itself when a salad link monster is link summoned using itself. Imo the better option would’ve been to use foxys effect to discard rage to special foxy because field spell is on the field. Then reset roar, use wolf to bring rage back to hand and you can set it. Same ending sort of and you get an extra monster.
If you use roar eff you will lose out in a grind situation as after using roar it will be banished meaning your going to have to waste your gazelle to get a new one instead of extenders
@@tejayly4617 I was actually wrong you can’t use foxys other effect cause you already used his first on normal summon. I still think using roar effect to set itself is better cause I’d rather just last one turn and bet on the deck otking, but either way it works I guess.
For the 4th combo you should consider any hand traps they may have, so after foxy excavates, then link into balelynx for sanctuary, and then cynet mining
I like salads and I wish we got stallio back but the problem is with how the deck is now it feels like the only plays the deck has is either grind game with wolf returning traps or just access OTK ( I know alot of other decks out there do the same thing over and over too nowadays which is kinda sad). if there are any other stuff the deck can do that i'm not aware of then I would love if u could share them.
Salad is slightly combo but mostly control deck. Basically the cards allow you to recycle your entire graveyard every turn. So getting back 3/4 monsters and 1/2 traps every turn can make it difficult for your opponent to keep up. Salad really focuses on the slow grind game and has a way to deal with almost anything on the opponents field. Really fun if you try it!
So I actually bought the Structure Decks when it came out and have one “built”. But in your profile video there’s some cards that I can’t afford. But would still like to play this deck competitively.
