I love that Gizmo and Cozmo are friends. It's so cool. Giz is a male, Cos is a female. What's also amazing to me amongst so many other things is they both seem to understand the words that are being spoken. Both birds are Magical. Their owners would do absolutely anything for them. Just recently Gizmo went through a health scare. I'm not trying to call her out in a bad way by any means, but Emily was touched by the letters people had sent in support of Gizmos recovery where it caused her to tear up. These people absolutely love their birds because they are family. Thank you for sharing Cosmo with us and for loving your animals so very much. 🥹❤️⭐
I really enjoy Cosmo. I love how she teases Saber and how she jokes with you, showing a higher level of thinking. I wonder how Coz would react if you put on a bird costume. Then again, I wouldn't want to upset her. She'd probably tell you to take it off!😂For those of us who don't have pets, they're ( Coz and Giz) are a blessing.❤
For sure it’s wonderful to see her feathers nice and full. But don’t think for a second she wasn’t just as happy and loved when she did/does pluck. Unfortunately, it’s just such a common thing for greys to pluck due to their high intelligence and timidness, that once a bird decides to pluck, it’s a very hard habit to break. I believe this family has been dealing with it for years and Cosmo knows she’s loved and safe here. I can’t speak for her owner, but I would get frustrated by people commenting on her feathers without knowing her history or tendencies at all. And I don’t know a ton, but I know how hard they’ve worked to overcome this with Cozzy and she might still decide to pluck throughout her whole life at times. It’s just how it is.
Cosmo plucks her feathers and I twirl my hair. For me it is an unconscious and uncontrollable way for me to deal with lots of things, but mostly stress and boredom. So I understand why Cosmo does it. I will say she has an amazing vocab and talks very very well. She understands what she says too. Gizmo talks as well but his understanding isn't as good as Cosmo's, in my opinion. I love them both!! 🕊🕊
It's fascinating that African Greys are sound artists, while Cockatoos are prize dancers. When Cockatoos talk, it's a bunch of mumbling next to Greys, but wow,can they dance.
you do water noiseSSSSS For anyone that doesnt know, when African Grey birds stand on one foot it means they are very happy/content and enjoying themselves.
Was Cosmo a rescue? She is so darling. You can tell she is very happy and super smart. Cosmo has to be the top 2 best talking African grays on RU-vid. You sure did a great job with Cosmo. She loves to talk.
There's a very tragic backstory to Cosmo. Her original human,a relative of her new Mom, passed away in the hospital. She was far too young, and I'm certain she still loves Cosmo from Heaven.
I watched it again, the nose part just cracks me up. She is so funny. These birds are so observant. Her sounds were perfect. Cosmo you are a funny girl. I love it.
There's so many beautiful moments, Oh my Gawd, to choose from Cozzy, in 2023, you awesome boom chicka chicka boom boom good girl! Hey Maaa, Coz gotta work tommorow, you go live and go viral, you little Superstarrr! "Hey get your beakie, BOOP!";Love you sooooo, you pretty girl! NICE!! You're such a delight Cozzy!! C.O.S.M.O.'S. 😂😂❤❤❤
I'll say it one more time, my dear Cosmo, you are the smartest, most amazing bird mind, I've ever known. I love you & the sweet folks, especially your mommy, who allowed you to be the magnificent creature that you are. I hope you live a very long life with all the love you need.
Awwww I'm in love with this baby girl, she's so talkative, naughty adorable and so so cuuute... I just love the way she calls you mommy and ma... Awwwwww that's ❤melting... Such a cutie ❤❤❤❤❤
This year for Thanksgiving I give thanks I found Cosmo 😊 Happy Thanksgiving Cos and family! Sending love and hugs to all of you from Manchester New Hampshire, USA 🤗♥️🙏
Of course I watch coz she's so funny. But what really is apparent and warms my heart even more than the humour, is that even though she is so vulnerable she is happy, unafraid, trusting and knows she is so loved. And that is a testament to you, that having a mummy with feathers is the best thing that ever happened to her.❤
❤️❤️❤️ I Love my baby girl with all my heart and I'm so blessed to have her in my life. Thank you for your very kind comment, I really appreciate it ❤️
One last comment, I keep pausing the video & posting comments because I've never seen such a talented parrot! He's extremely smart!!! You should get him on a TV show for animals....seriously!!! He obviously picks up on things very easily!!! Put him on America's funniest videos for animals or something, he certainly deserves to be seen & heard by the world!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So precious!!! These babies are too smart and social. Good owners like you make such a difference in the quality of life of a bird like this. It's like having a 4 year old for 80 years. Btw my lovebird Bert loves listening to Cosmo and Gizmo. What amazed me is that my bird knows it's another bird taking. He reacts the same way as he does to birds chirping and singing.
Cosmo is amazing- so funny and smart. Feathers have grown in nicely. I love her and could listen and talk to her all day. She is one of a kind. Precious!
Birds are smart, as you know. They are fast learners. Have you thought that Cosmo might be Asking Why mommy has hair, and birds have feathers? Mommy and daddy are human. We have hair. Cosmo is a bird, peep, peep, peep. Birds have feathers. Saber is a cat, meow. Cats have fur. Sometimes, we have to look beyond what we see.🙂❤
I own one just like your and for years she plucked until this winter I kept the living room cold I mean cold kept her away from any kind of heat and I gently sprayed her with water once a day she’s got all her feathers back including her tail feathers they need humidity and a cool place doesn’t keep changing her spot. 👍🏻
She is really special. I love all of the bird community greys, but Cosmo, I dunno what it is? Perhaps it is because she is never pacing around or looking around nervously--as is so common in CAGs, but instead seems to be watching you or the family intently (or the camera), making eye contact, always very chill and just seems more genuinely connected and conversing. 💌
The more I watch, the more I am convinced that's it. Only realizing it now. She is looking right back at you and engaged in the conversation. She even seems to add inflection to her use of words and emphasize her points with any body movement. Even the most viral "talking parrots" seem to be fidgeting or pacing around, or playing for a large percent of the interactions. Just very sweet.
Cosmo always brightens my spirits when I’m down or having a bad day. She really is a Superstaahh🌟with an excellent vocabulary. I love her for that! 🦜😙💕
